Ghibli Museum is a treasure house for learning about Ghibli films. It exhibits how the movies were made.
Edo-Tokyo Open-air Architectural Museum (Tatemono-en) has 30 houses that exhibit architectural styles, people's lives, and the culture and history of Japan. All of them are not imitation nor miniature, but original. Also, they have been providing seeds of imagination to anime creators. They are depicted in movies, such as "Spirited Away", "My Neighbor Totoro" and partly "Your Name". I will be more than happy to show these houses. (Personally, I found 8 spots.)
Usually it is scheduled Ghibli Museum in the morning and Edo-Tokyo Museum after noon. But just in case, morning ticket of Ghibli is not available, the order will be switched. (Edo-Tokyo Museum AM and Ghibli Museum PM)

Highly recommended tour and tour guide. We loved every minute of our tour with Shuichi. His tour was informative and interesting. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic day and was so great with the kids. Nothing was too much trouble and and we had a fabulous day. The kids keep asking where Shu is today... They were hoping he was going to be with us every day of our holiday in Tokyo.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I also had a great time with your family, especially with the children. Continue your wonderful trip and please come back to Japan someday in future. Good-by today.
