【This tour is offered during ONLY SPRING】
(From late March to middle April)
I can show you local hidden gems as well as popular tourists spots!
If you don't like to have only just a touristy experience in Tokyo, this tour can live up to your expectations! Be friends with local Japanese not only Google and SNS, be blended into Japanese culture and add more colors to your adventure!
Kiyosumishirakawa Station
- Kiyosumishirakawa is known for a number of coffee shops in this area. Not like popular areas in central Tokyo ( such as Shibuya, Harajuku and Shinjuku), Kiyosumishirawa remains some nostalgic vibe from its old townscape. There is a nice Japanese traditional garden called "Kiyosumi Teien." I can take you to rental yukata (or kimono) store to dress in those "wahuku" so let's go to the garden wearing traditional clothes and take beautiful photos for your instagram;) Restaurants in Kiyosumishirakawa varies from the old ones to the modern ones as well as coffee shops! Also, you can try delicious Japanese traditional sweets in Kiyosumishirakawa if you are interested! There is a nice "sento (a small hot spring facility)," a nostalgic walkway along Sendaibori river called "Matsuo Basho Walk Path," and "Fukagawa Edo Museum." You can definitely enjoy the fusion of its oldness and modernity in Kiyosumishirakawa.
You can choose one of these listed activities depending on how you feel or the condition of the weather!
The highest tower in Japan! There is a shopping mall called "TOKYO Solamachi," and you can go to Pokemon Center, Sanrio store, Kirby Cafe, and more stores collaborated with various popular characters!
Kinshicho station is not touristy at all and a lot of local Japanese enjoy drinking at izakaya here! If you are a sea food lover, of course there are various kinds of sea food izakayas. My recommendation is chicken skewer, which is "yakitori" in Japanese and this is super famous izakaya food among lots of Japanese people!

“Fun day with amazing Ayaka”
Ayaka is young, a native of Japan, and speaks perfect English. If you’re looking for the complete history of a certain temple, you might look for a historical guide, but if you want to explore Tokyo and see the street markets, local food, best shopping areas, she’s your girl. She took us down side streets, open air markets, onto the metro, and into shopping malls. My son and I had a blast!
