"Izakaya" and "karaoke" is one of the popular Japanese culture to experience for tourists but it is also a tough mission to just jump in without a company of local Japanese. In this tour, you don't have to be afraid to experience these activities with me! You can definitely feel like being blended into Japanese local culture and enjoy nightlife in Tokyo!
Meeting Point
Kinshicho station
- Kinshicho is one of the popular nightlife area in Tokyo among locals! This area is bustling with salarymen and lots of young people who love drinking with drink buddies! You won't see tourists in Kishicho as many as other nightlife areas so, if you love to experience hidden gems, I'd recommend to enjoy drinking in Kinshicho!
Karaoke Utahiroba
Utahiroba is one of the major karaoke stores in Japan! If you have a membership, you can get a discount and I HAVE ONE! This is the advantage that you can take when you are with a local guide!
Torimitsukuni
You can enjoy really tasty chicken skewers, in Japanese "yakitori" here!
Kura
This is a professional "nihonshu (sake)" bar in Kinshicho. If you are interested in authentic sake taste, definitely it's my recommendation! They'll have a little appetizer menus that goes with nihonshu really well as well.
Tsukemen Nanaya
You can't miss out Japanese "shime" culture after izakaya! A lot of Japanese people go to eat ramen to cool down. If you are interested in experiencing this "shime" culture, I'll take you to "tsukemen" store, which is dip and slurp style noodle, after izakaya hopping!

*Guests' and guide's izakaya and karaoke fee are not included to the tour price (Karaoke fee in the evening ranges approximately from 800JPY to 1200JPY).
*There are several options of izakaya food so if you have specific kind of food that you want to try, please let me know in advance. I can find an appropriate izakaya for you!
* Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions.

My maximum business hour is until 10pm.
I can guide you to outside of Tokyo to visit for example, outlet shopping mall, onsen, or fruits picking if you pay my transportation fee or either using some vehicle agency.

“A Fun Filled Day in Tokyo With The BEST Guide Ever”
I wish I was a better writer so I could do justice to just how wonderful Ayaka is, but I will do my best. We chose her because we really wanted our teenage daughters to get to spend a day like a typical Tokyo teenager. Ayaka customized the perfect day for us after I made my requests and it really was the best day ever. We just got back to the hotel from the “tour” and I wanted to write this review right away to express my appreciation. She took us shopping to so many cool stores we would not have been able to find on our own. The Wagyu beef bbq restaurant she recommended for lunch was absolutely perfect. She taught us all how to operate and play the taeko drum machines, claw machines, and Photo Booth at the arcade. We accidentally booked the wrong location for the Mipig cafe, and she was able to call and fix our mistake and make sure we still got to see the pigs. She is the world’s best karaoke partner. She even helped make appointments for other things that we needed later in the week. Of note- we have traveled all over the world and in our most exotic places we put ourselves in the hands of local guides. We always choose ones who advertise as fluent in English- and we have learned that depending on the country and the guide we selected, the actual fluency of the guide can vary. Ayaka was a Communications major at a university in California- her English is flawless. We absolutely adored her, and we hope from the bottom of our hearts that if she ever comes to our hometown of New Orleans that she will let us take her out for as perfect a day as she arranged for us. We will be returning home to Japan and we absolutely intend to make sure to book her for our entire trip.
