Toyosu market opened on October 11,2018 on man-mad island in Tokyo bay. You can see auctions of seafood including tuna. Tsukiji outer market is a district adjacent to the site of the former Tsukiji wholesale market. It consists of a few blocks of wholesale and retail shops, as well as restaurants crowded along narrow lanes. Here you can find fresh and processed seafood and produce.

The Toyosu Market consists of fish wholesale market, fish intermediate wholesale market and vegetable & fruits market. You can see vivid and vibrant auctions from observation decks.
Tsukiji Outer Market is a district of wide variety of retail shops for fresh and processed seafood and many restaurants. You can enjoy not only shopping seafood, processed food but also eating cooked seafood and sushi.
Hama rikyu Garden was the family garden of Tokugawa Shogun which functioned as an outer fort for Edo castle. Now, the garden was designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty and Historic Site of the country. There are several tea houses where travelers can enjoy tea while enjoying surrounding scenery.

Inclusions & Exclusions
Gude fee, hotel pick up in Chuo-ward and Koto-ward
Transportation fee (you and guide), lunch. dinner, entrance fee, guide's accommodation charge (￥5,000 in case to see tuna auction starting 5:30AM)
*Transportation (train) about ￥500, Taxi ￥2,500 ~¥5,000 to see tuna auction (This depends on which hotel you stay.). No train available
to reach the market by 5:30AM.

Tour Important Information
Toyosu market
You are required to reach Toyosu market by 5:30 in the morning before the tuna auction begins. If you do not see tuna auction, you can start looking around the market from any time after 7:00AM. This market closes on Sundays, Wednesdays and National holidays.
The observatory deck on the first floor is the best place to see vivid and vibrant tuna auction but only 120 people are allowed to enter the observatory by winning the lottery. The lottery open from 2nd week of the month and close by around 3rd week of the month for the following month's auction observation. So it is highly recommended to let your guide know early enough which day and month you want to see the auction. So your guide will join the lottery on behalf of you. If lottery is unsuccessful, you need to see the auction through windows on the second floor. Close communication with your guide is required to make reservation for observing the auction from the observation deck on the first floor. Consulting with your guide before you make a booking is required.

This market closes on Sundays and Wednesdays (Some shops are open on Wednesdays)
Hama Rikyu:
This garden close from December 29 to January 1.

“Tokyo Day two”
Nao, Was an absolute gentleman, was the oldest guide we used in Japan but such a wealth of knowledge and as I said such a gentleman. Definitely knew his way around but at the same time negotiated the most efficient way to travel without the traditional crowds you would expect in Tokyo. We definitely regret not being able to say a proper goodby to Nao San due to having to catch our next train to Kanazawa.
