Day 1
Morning: Driving from Amman to Dead Sea Spa.
Depart Amman for the Dead Sea (1-hour drive). Spend 4 hours at the Dead Sea Spa, floating in the mineral-rich waters, enjoying mud treatments, and relaxing by the resort pools.
Afternoon: Dead Sea Spa Lunch Time
Enjoy a leisurely lunch at the resort before driving to Wadi Rum (3 hours). Arrive in time for a thrilling 4x4 Jeep tour or camel ride through the desert, exploring iconic sites like Lawrence’s Spring and red sand dunes.
Driving from Dead Sea to Wadi Rum
A road trip from the Dead Sea to Wadi Rum: a breathtaking journey through Jordan’s diverse landscapes, blending the lowest point on Earth with the vast desert wilderness. Starting from the salty shores of the Dead Sea, you’ll drive through the rugged mountains of the Great Rift Valley, passing through Ma’an or Petra if you choose a scenic detour. As you approach Wadi Rum, the terrain shifts to dramatic sandstone formations and endless red dunes. The trip, roughly 4-5 hours by car, offers stunning desert vistas, historic sites, and the chance to experience Jordan’s rich Bedouin culture.
Evening: Arriving to Wadi Rum
Check into a traditional Bedouin camp. Witness a mesmerizing desert sunset, followed by a delicious Bedouin-style dinner under the stars. Enjoy local music and storytelling around the campfire before retiring to your comfortable tent for the night.
Day 2
Morning: Enjoy Wadi Rum.
Wake up to a stunning desert sunrise. After breakfast at the camp, embark on a 4x4 drive tour and optional short morning adventure, such as hiking or sandboarding.
Late Morning: Drive back to Amman from Wadi Rum.
Begin your journey back to Amman, arriving by early afternoon.
