A city tour in Bishkek. This day we will visit the main sights of the capital city of Kyrgyzstan ā The main square Ala-Too, The White House, Osh bazaar (oriental market) and the historical museum ā the biggest museum in the country. Accommodation in a hotel.
A visit to the national park Ala-Archa, a short walk to admire the incredible views of this place, then the way to Chon-Kemin valley, situated in a picturesque place in Chui region. Accommodation in a guest house. Possibility to make a horseback riding.
Departure towards Cholpon-Ata town, situated in the north shore of Issyk-Kul lake, the second biggest high-altitude lake in the world (after lake Titicaca in South America). On the road we will stop to see Konorchek - a walk through the rocky terrain up to the magnificent canyons. The walk will take 3-4 hours there and back. Then we continue our road and go all the way to the resort town of Cholpon-Ata. Accommodation in a guest house.
Visiting Cholpon-Ata open-air museum of petroglyphs, then road to Grigoriev gorge (Kyrchyn), one of the famous places of Issyk-Kul region, where you can see a big amount of Tien-Shan spruce, then we continue our road to Karakol town ā one of the first settlements founded by Russian in Kyrgyzstan. A short city-tour in Karakol, visit to famous Holy Trinity Church and Dungan Mosque (made without using nails). Accommodation in a guest house.
Departure towards Zhety-Oguz ā a rocky formation (which means ā7 bullsā in Kyrgyz language), then the way to Barskoon waterfalls. This place was famous all over the Soviet countries by its nature, and even the first astronaut Yuri Gagarin liked to rest here. After that we continue our way to Skazka canyons, also named as Fairytale. By the end of the day we will see the presentation of eagle-hunting, an ancient art of nomadic people. Accommodation in a guest house in Bokonbaevo village.
A road to Ak-Sai canyons, a short walk in the canyons, then climbing to the panorama view (this possibility depends on the weather). We continue and arrive to Kyzyl-Tuu village, which is famous by production of yurts ā nomad dwellings. We will see the process and will know more about this part of Kyrgyz culture. Then road to Kochkor village. A visit to local souvenir shop, where we can also see the production of traditional carpets ā shyrdak and ala-kiyiz, and even participate in this process. Accommodation in a guest house.
The way back to Bishkek. We will stop at the historical and architectural complex of Burana, where we can see an ancient tower built in the 10th century, as well as learn more about the ancient customs of the Kyrgyz people in the local museum. Then we go to Issyk-Ata resort, famous by its hot springs beneficial to health. Not far from the resort there is a beautiful waterfall where we can go. After a walk we return to Bishkek. Till May I work as a French Teacher at Kyrgyz International University and can deliver only 1 day tours or 2 day tours. In May and after that I can deliver multi day trips in Kyrgyzstan.
-The weather in mountains can change quickly and it can be cold sometimes, so consider taking your warm clothes to the trip.
-This tour can be started from the Manas International Airport (Bishkek) at your arrival, but you need to inform me about this in advance.
