Alamedin Gorge is a beautiful natural area located about 30 km from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. It's a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering a variety of activities and attractions.
The Alamedin River flows through the gorge, creating a refreshing atmosphere and opportunities for leisurely walks along its banks.
We will walk to the waterfall, which is a popular place for hiking. We will walk 6 km one way.

At your hotel
Bishkek- Alamedin gorge
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the Alamedin gorge. It is takes about 45 minutes
Alamedin Gorge
Explore the lower part of the gorge. This is a good time for a leisurely walk along the Alamedin River.
First stop for a picnic
We can enjoy the scenery, take photos and picnic with a beautiful view of the mountains
Walk to the waterfall
We begin our hike to the waterfall. This hike is moderately difficult and takes about an hour, depending on your pace.
Waterfall
Enjoy the waterfall! Take photos, relax by the cool water, and enjoy the natural beauty.
Waterfall- Car parking
Hike back down from the waterfall.
Hot spring
Visit the hot springs (if you're interested). This is a great way to relax after your hike.

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-day trip around Issyk-Kul with Guliza as our driver, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! “7 day Kyrgyzstan adventure”
We recently returned (June 2026) from an amazing 7-day tour of Kyrgyzstan with Guliza, and we couldn’t have been happier. Son-Kul is one of the most famous high-mountain lakes in Kyrgyzstan. It is located at an altitude of 3016 m. above sea level. Lake Son-Kul can only be reached only in the summer (3 mounth) the rest of the time the road is blocked by snow and ice. In summer, Son-Kul is still cool. The average temperature is 15°C and at night it drops below zero. The yurts are equipped with small stoves that warm travelers at night.
