Pha That Luang the Grand Stupa. 'Great Stupa' is a large gold-covered Buddhist stupa in the centre of the city of Vientiane, Laos.It’s suggested that in the 3rd century AD, the stupa has undergone several reconstructions as recently as the 1930s due to foreign invasions of the area. It is generally regarded as the most important national monument in Laos and a national symbol.
This tour will bring you to Patuxai also known as Gate of Victory, it was built using American funds and cement actually intended to build a new airport. The Royal Laotian Government instead built the monument, which earned it the nickname of the "vertical runway"
