Meeting Point

Canopy Villa Tampik Valley, Janda Baik

- Guests will make their own way to Janda Baik by their own transportation or ride E-hailing service (Grab/Uber). We will meet at Canopy Villa Tampik Valley and begin the tour from there. Transportation from Kuala Lumpur to Janda Baik is not included. (i will arrage if theres no Taxi or Uber to go Janda Baik)

Tampik Waterfall – Begin the Rainforest Adventure

After a short safety briefing, begin the rainforest hike and make your way towards the upper levels of Tampik Waterfall. The route takes us through a beautiful natural forest environment before we reach Level 3, where we begin exploring the different tiers of the waterfall.

Tampik Waterfall – Levels 3 & 4

Explore Levels 3 and 4 of Tampik Waterfall and discover how each level has its own character, scenery and natural pools. Take your time to enjoy the rainforest surroundings, relax by the water and capture photos along the way.

Tampik Waterfall – Level 5 (Best for Swimming)

Continue the adventure to Level 5, located at approximately 548 metres above sea level. The journey from the lower levels takes around 40 to 60 minutes depending on trail conditions and the group's pace. Enjoy the waterfall, natural pools and surrounding rainforest before continuing higher.

Tampik Waterfall – Levels 6 & 7 (Best for Photography)

Continue from Level 5 towards Levels 6 and 7, with approximately another 20 minutes of hiking. Each level offers a different atmosphere and perspective of the waterfall. Explore the upper cascades, enjoy the peaceful rainforest surroundings and discover one of Janda Baik's lesser-known natural gems.

Tampik Waterfall Upper Campsite & Freshwater Fish Experience

Relax near the campsite above Level 7 and enjoy some time surrounded by the rainforest. Guests can have a simple picnic or rest here if time, weather and trail conditions allow. The area is also home to Tengas, a native Malaysian freshwater fish. I will provide fish food so guests can enjoy interacting with the fish in the natural pools. I will also take photos throughout the experience so you can bring home memories of your Tampik adventure.

Trek Back Through the Rainforest

Begin the descent back through the rainforest at a comfortable pace. Take in the scenery along the way and enjoy the final part of the adventure before returning to the starting point.

Tour Important Information

• This is a family-friendly rainforest hiking experience along a commercial trail in Janda Baik.

• The route takes us from Level 3 towards Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Tampik Waterfall, with plenty of time to enjoy the different levels along the way.

• The journey to Level 5 usually takes around 40–60 minutes, depending on the group's pace and trail conditions. From Level 5 to Level 7 takes approximately another 20 minutes.

• Each level of Tampik Waterfall offers a different atmosphere, scenery and natural pools to explore.

• Swimming and enjoying the natural pools are optional and subject to weather and water conditions.

• The area is home to Tengas, a native Malaysian freshwater fish. Fish food will be provided so guests can enjoy interacting with the fish in the natural pools.

• Guests can enjoy a simple picnic at the campsite above Level 7 if time, weather and trail conditions allow. Food and drinks for the picnic are not included.

• Photography by the guide is included throughout the experience, so guests can enjoy the adventure while I capture memorable moments along the way.

• Please bring comfortable walking shoes, drinking water, insect repellent, sun protection, swimwear or a change of clothes, and a waterproof bag for valuables.

• The itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather, water conditions and the group's pace.
