Meeting Point
At your hotel (Marrakech)
DAY 01 : Marrakech - Imlil
This is the start point of the hike, our driver will pick you up from your place in Marrakech and drive you towards the high Atlas Mountains.
64km, 1h30min driving.
DAY 01 : Imlil - Toubkal refuge
Once you are in imlil village in high Atlas Mountains at altitude of 1740m, you will meet your local expert guide who will guide you through this magic 3 days hiking to the highest summit in north of Africa, Mount Toubkal 4167m, the guide will explain to you more about the itinerary of today which will be about 5 hours walking to Toubkal refuge 3207m, where you will stay for the night and lunch will be before the refuge prepared by our local cooker with his mule where you will carry your luggage to make it easy for you to get to the refuge, dinner and breakfast will be here in the refuge.
Approx of walking this day is 6 hours max.
DAY 02 : Toubkal Refuge - Toubkal summit 4167m - Imlil
In the very early morning you will start again your last ascent to Toubkal summit, after your breakfast around 4:30am, you will continue the last 3 hours lasts to the summit where you will enjoy a great sunrise if it’s not cloudy before the descent to the refuge again with the same way, having a short break in the refuge with tea and then continue down to imlil again where you will have the second night in a guest house, lunch will be before imlil and dinner with breakfast in the guest house. Approx of walking is 10 hours.
DAY 03 : Imlil - optional(summit of 2600m) - Marrakech
Today you will have breakfast at 8:30am and if you are interested in doing a summit of an altitude of 2600m from imlil it’s possible, otherwise you will have breakfast at 10am and drive you back to Marrakech where you will finish the tour.
Lunch will be included if you like to the hike from imlil which will take about 5 hours in total.
