Meeting Point
Outdoor Himalayan Treks office or at your hotel (preferred location)

Nagarkot
Drive to Nagarkot takes about 1 Hour (depends on traffic and road condition), which is the most importatnt view point for sunrise and mountain views.
Nagarkot to Changu Narayan hiking
After the sunrise view, have breakfast at a hotel/restaurant in Nagarkot then start our hike towards Changunarayan, which takes about 3 hours.
Reach to Changu Narayan, end of Hiking
Arriving to Changu village with local lifestyle and natural beauty takes about 3 hours.
Drive to Kathmandu
As the hike gets over, we shall drive back from Changu Narayan to Kathmandu and drop off at your place.
Ending Point
Kathmandu (at your hotel) or at Outdoor Himalayan Treks office

Tour Important Information
* The sunrise depends in the month (summer & winter have different time for sunrise), so we start our journey prior to the sunrise time.
* The posibility of sunrise and mountain view depends on the weather condition (rain, fog, clouds), so we must be aware of the weather status as well.
* The drive depends on traffic and road condition.
* Hike between Nagarkot to Changu takes about 3 hours (the walk is smooth and mostly downhill or flat), if you have problem with walking we can break the walk in between and take ride from Telkot to your destination.
* Changunarayan is the most oldest Hindu temple of Kathmandu by written history (From the 4th century)
* If you have special diet or food alergies kindly let me know in advance.

Hello everyone, Namaste. Myself Badri Aryal, born and grown up in villages & Himalayas of Nepal.
I have been working in the tourism and hospitality industry in Nepal since 2007. I had worked as a mountain trekking porter in the beginning days. Slowly & step by step I got chance to become mountain guide & then the heritage/cultural guide.
