Hello everyone, Namaste. Myself Badri Aryal, born and grown up in villages & Himalayas of Nepal.

I have been working in the tourism and hospitality industry in Nepal since 2007. I had worked as a mountain trekking porter in the beginning days. Slowly & step by step I got chance to become mountain guide & then the heritage/cultural guide.

For now I have been working with Outdoor Himalayan Treks and a freelancer guide from different companies as well.

Chandragiri is a hill situated at the south west of Kathmandu valley, with its altitude 2551 meters. There is a Shiva temple on top of the hill which is accessible by cable car ride or walking stairs up. The cable car ride takes about 8 minutes & ascends over 1000 meters from its base. From the top of the hill we can see beautiful mountain ranges including Mt Everest & other famous mountains as well as Kathmandu valley. This place gets fresh snow often during the winter season.
