Meeting Point
Airport or Hotel in Kathmandu
- The meeting point will be decided whether to meet at the airport pick up or the Hotel after the arrival.
Day 1: Drive to Syabrubesi and trek to Bamboo
The trip starts early in the morning around 6 am and heads towards north of the Kathmandu. Your private car will pick you up from the Hotel. The route follows the countryside Trishuli Highway. Enjoy the views of local towns, and farmlands along the way.
Driving through the highway, you will find many checkposts. Likewise, after 2-3 hours, the offroad track comes up which is kind of adventurous. After getting our entry card at Dunche, the drive continues to Syabrubeshi. If the road condition beyond the Syabubeshi is good then car will take you to Doman, which will cut off almost 4 Km of hiking. From here, the walk ascends the hill through the forest and reaches Bamboo in an hour. Overnight stay at Bamboo.
Day 2: Trek from Bamboo to Langtang Village
The last day was quite long, with a drive and a little walk. Today, you will wake up early and have a mountain breakfast before setting off for another long day. You will usually walk through the forest and bank of the Langtang River. Walking an hour will take you to the Lama Hotel. From here another 3-4 hours of walk through the forest takes you to Langtang Village. Overnight stay at Langtang Village.
Day 3: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa and Hike to Kyanjin Ri
Today’s walk will lead you to the famous Kyanjin Gompa and Kyanjin Ri. The trail is gentle and easy from Langtang to Kyanjin through the bank of the Langtang River. It takes an hour and a half to reach Kyanjin Ri. Here, you will have a light Lunch and hike to Kyanjin Ri. This viewpoint offers outstanding views of surrounding peaks. After spending some time here, the hike will return to Kyanjin Gompa to stay overnight.
Day 4: Trek from Kyanjin to Lama Hotel
Time to return after a short hike in the Langtang valley. Retrace the same route from yesterday and hike down to the Lama Hotel today. Today’s walk will be down through the bamboo and rhododendron forest. Overnight stay at Lama Hotel.
Day 5: Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubeshi and Drive back to Kathmandu
On the final day of the Langtang Valley Short Trek, bid goodbye to the Langtang Region. Another day of downhill walk through the forest and cross several suspension bridges. Your car is waiting for you at Doman/ Syabrubeshi to take you back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be dropped to your hotel.

Tour Important Information
* For this Trek you will need 2 permit cards: Langtang National Park Entry Permit and Trekkers Information Management Permit. We help you to get both.
*This tour involves walking daily for 6 days and 2 days driving for 6-7 hours.
*Accommodation during the trek will be in a basic teahouse. In Lama Hotel there are no proper facilities like a hot shower and Wifi. Other than that other places have hot showers, wifi, electricity, etc.
* Please get travel insurance that covers your altitude medical bills, rescue, and other expenses.
* The time and the itinerary are subject to change if customer want to have customized itinerary after arrival
