A tour of Middle Earth. Escape into the enchanting world of J.R.R Tolkien’s famous stories. Nestled amid farmland are the 44 Hobbit Holes in a lush 12-acre valley that is the Hobbit Village. You can imagine the Hobbits living there, going about their day to day chores, tending their gardens and catching up with their neighbours at the Green Dragon Inn for a quiet ale or two.

After pick up from Tauranga Port, we travel through New Zealand's most productive farm land, known for its lush dairy farms and racehorse studs.
Hobbiton: 10:00 - 12.00
On arrival, we meet our guide and board the Hobbit Bus for the drive through the 1250-acre farm to the famous movie set for an escorted tour around the12 acre village.
We escape into the enchanting world of JRR Tolkien's famous stories as we walk around the Hobbiton Movie Set where the amazing films were brought to life.
As you explore the Hobbit holes located in picturesque valley Hobbit Village, your expert guide relates stories of this fascinating movie set. See Bag End, the Party Tree, Gandalf's Cutting, The Mill House and more.
Recognize the landmarks you know and love.
Finish your tour with a complimentary drink at the Green Dragon Inn

Start times will fit in with ship arrival/departure times. We will advise you of any change to start times
I will meet you 15 minutes prior to departing time at the Port entry/exit gates 5 -10 minutes walk from your ship where I will be waiting with your name sign. I guarantee to have you back to the waiting ship on board well before sailing time.
