"Te Puia" heartland of New Zealand's geothermal activity and a center for Māori history and culture. A steaming volcanic landscape of boiling mud, simmering hot pools, thrilling sight of "Pohutu" geyser shooting boiling water and steam 100 ft high an amazing display of force.

Hobbiton Tour. 9:40 - 11:40
Hobbiton: This tour will take you to a world of enduring fantasy where the amazing films were created by New Zealand director, Peter Jackson, set across the 12 acres Hobbit Village.
See Bilbo's house, The Water Mill, Green Dragon, the Arched Bridge, 44 Hobbit houses, gardens, wandering pathways, The Party Tree, lakes.
Listen to the wonderful stories and tales of Gandalf, Frodo, and the villagers as the your professional guide explains how the movies were made.
If you haven't read the books or seen the movies you will still love it.
Hobbiton: Lunch 11:40 - 12:10pm

Leave for Te Puia (Rotorua) 12:10 - 1:40pm
After leaving Hobbiton we take a one hour scenic drive to Rotorua through lush farmland to connect with "Te Puia"
Tour of Te Puia. 1.40 pm - 3.30 pm:
Guided tour of Te Puia. At "Te Puia" we start our surreal tour exploring this steaming volcanic wonderland.
See geysers explode high into the air, viscous boiling mudpools, steam vents and boiling hot pools simmer endlessly.
See the elusive nocturnal Kiwi Bird, Pre - European village, traditional war canoe, Maori craftsman hand carving wood & precious greenstone.
As we tour the park your guide explains the history of this volcanic landscape rich in Maori culture and history.

Cruise ship tours; start times will fit in with ship arrival/departure times. We will advise you of any changes to start time.
I will meet you 15 minutes prior to departing time at the Port entry/exit gates 5 -10 minutes walk from your ship. I will be waiting there with your name sign.
