Meeting Point
Herrera Square at Casco Antiguo
- You'll be picked up at the Herrera Square at Casco Antiguo, the only square with a horse rider monument in the area.
DAY 1 - Soberania National Park
We'll start our day at Soberania National Park, a 22,000 hectares protected area with a lush rainforest located next to the Panama Canal. We'll visit the Pipeline Road, old pipeline maintenance road converted into a trail, this place provide the opportunity to spot some of the local wildlife; such as: monkeys, iguanas, sloths, and myriad of birds.
Centennial Bridge Pan-American Highway and Panama Countryside
We'll leave Soberania National Park to cross the Centennial Bridge and hit the road through the Pan-American Highway to reach Punta Chame Beach. During this ride you'll be able to see Panama's countryside while crossing different small towns and landscapes. We'll do a stopover at local restaurant for lunch also for you to get some snacks.(Lunch at your own expense)
Punta Chame Beach
We'll take a turn off at the Pan- American Highway to take the road leading to Punta Chame, a secluded beach located in a nice coastal community where we’ll spend the afternoon swimming , relaxing and enjoying the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
San Carlos Lagoon Camping and Overnight
We'll leave Punta Chame Beach to take on the Pan- American Highway once again to reach the San Carlos Lagoon a winding road providing breathtaking views of the mountain will take us to an 800 m altitude passing from the coastal dry forest to Cloud Forest with cool temperatures. Upon Arrival we'll setup our camp and spend the evening having dinner at a campfire after dinner. After dinner we'll explore the Lagoon environs on a nighttime wildlife observation tour. Overnight at the San Carlos Lagoon - Dinner included.
DAY 2 - San Carlos Lagoon
We'll have breakfast in the morning, then you'll have time at leisure, where you'll be able to swim at the Lagoon or explore its environs, before leaving for Panama City at noon. Breakfast included.
Return to Panama City
We'll pack our camp and take on the Pan- American Highway to return to Panama City- Lunch Stopover on the road.(Lunch at your own expense)
