Itinerary

04:30 AM

Meeting Point

Hotel

- Meet you at your hotel in Panglao Island or Tagbilaran City (Bohol)

06:00 AM

Whale Shark Watching

Whale Shark Watching gives you a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a giant sea creature. The Whale Shark is the largest fish alive today. Their maximum size is still unknown, but they can reach up to 20 meters. You can spend time watching these giants in the water or swimming with them.

08:30 AM

Xzootic Animal Park

Visit a place with tropical butterflies and a white boa constrictor.

09:30 AM

Bilar Man-Made Forest

Visit the artificial forest (Mahogany Forest).

Mahogany Forest is the first and only artificial forest in the Philippines. It consists mainly of mahogany trees about 2 kilometers long, densely spread in the towns of Bilar and Loboc. The terrain on both sides of the road goes up and I don't know how high. What you see are only redwood trees that look like thousands of sentries standing upright and guarding the road.

No other vegetation grows between the redwoods. All you see are the brown trunks sticking out of the ground and the green canopy above them. And that is what makes them so attractive! It's beautiful to see the roots of the trees sticking out of the ground, creeping over boulders and the contours of the earth, even reaching the side of the road. Looking at them makes you shiver. Like the tentacles of a giant octopus, the roots seem to reach out and grab careless passersby, just like in the movie Lord of the Rings.

10:00 AM

Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area

-Visit the park with the tarsiers (Tarsier Sanctuary).

It is quite problematic to see these little ones in the wild. They value their privacy and do not like publicity. One of the favorite activities of tarsiers is to play hide and seek. High up in a tree, in the dense shade, among the leaves, it is extremely difficult to notice and even more difficult to see in detail.

11:00 AM

ATV Rental

Embark on a thrilling quad bike adventure through the famous Chocolate Hills of Bohol Island.

Known for its breathtaking scenery and distinctive geological formations, Bohol Island is home to one of the Philippines' most unique natural wonders - the stunning Chocolate Hills.

The remarkable Chocolate Hills are hundreds of symmetrical, rolling hills that turn a rich chocolate brown colour during the dry season. Recognised as the third National Geographic Monument in the Philippines, this magnificent site is also considered a potential UNESCO World Heritage Site.

While some tours only take you to the observation deck, this ATV adventure offers exclusive access to the trails that wind through the foothills, allowing you to appreciate its beauty up close and from a unique perspective.

This exhilarating experience involves navigating through varied terrain and scenic trails. With full safety equipment and detailed instructions, you can enjoy the ride with confidence and peace of mind.

Your fun begins with a warm welcome from your friendly and knowledgeable guide in the ATV Centre waiting area. Once you have familiarised yourself with your assigned ATV, you will be ready for an exhilarating ride through the majestic Chocolate Hills of Bohol Island.

The sweeping views of these impressive hills with their unique conical shapes stretching to the horizon will take your breath away. Feel the wind on your face and the excitement of discovering hidden spots only accessible by quad bike.

12:30 PM

Chocolate Hills Viewing Deck

-Visit the Chocolate Hills.

The Chocolate Hills are amazing landscapes created by nature. The Chocolate Hills are Bohol's most famous landmark and are even featured on the provincial crest and flag. Wherever you look for information about the island of Bohol, the first thing you are advised to see is the Chocolate Hills. What are these hills?

They are cone-shaped, their height varies from 30 to 120 meters, their number ranges from 1260 to 1776 hills in 50 square meters, and in the dry season, the grass on them burns and turns brown. All these factors together make these hills called chocolate hills. Scientists have not yet agreed on the origin of the chocolate hills in Bohol.

The Chocolate Hills are located in a flat terrain, which is even more surprising to humans. Nevertheless, scientists have proposed several versions of the origin of such a miracle of nature: the first - the Chocolate Hills were formed as a result of volcanic activity; the second - once this place was the bottom of the sea with limestone deposits, and after many years when the water level in the sea decreased, they appeared on land; and the third - due to the impact of rainwater and soil erosion occurred rise of coral deposits.

Although the versions of scientists are quite different, they all agree on the main idea - Chocolate Hills are not the creation of human hands, because to create such a landmark, people would have needed much more effort and time than, for example, to build the pyramids in Egypt

01:30 PM

Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park

-Ziplines over the Loboc River (Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park).

Who likes to tickle your nerves, experience new emotions and get adrenaline! I would like to point out that the flight is not just between the trees as in a rope park - but over the trees and even over the river! The height of the flight is about 100 meters.

02:30 PM

Loboc River Cruise

-Loboc River Cruise on a restaurant raft and lunch during the rafting (national cuisine buffet).

Loboc River is one of the main rivers of the island. It is scenic and its waters are calm, so there are floating raft restaurant cruises. The cruise starts with a hearty lunch and then the float continues for about an hour.

There is live music during the float. Songs can be Boholano, Jazz or Blues. Enjoy the traditional dancing and singing of the performers on the riverbank. Be sure to wave to passengers from other floating restaurants as they pass in the other direction.

Our floating restaurant will follow the winding Green River. We pass nipa palms, coconut palms, banana trees and shrubs. The current is calm until we reach the small Busay waterfall at the end of the trip.

04:00 PM

Visit to San Jose Catholic Cathedral/ Year of foundation - 1595. (Bohol Island)

Immaculate Conception Church , also known as La Purisima Concepción de la Virgen María Parish Church and Baclayon Church, is a Roman Catholic church in the municipality of Baclayon, Bohol, Philippines, in the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Tagbilaran. Baclayon was founded by Jesuit priest Juan de Torres y Gabriel Sanchez in 1596 and became the oldest Christian settlement in Bohol. It was elevated to a parish in 1717, and the present coral stone church was completed in 1727. The Augustinian Recollects succeeded the Jesuits in 1768 and have since greatly restored the church.

04:40 PM

Tasting of BUCO, the national drink of the Philippines.

On the way home, we will make a short stop and try a refreshing drink called BUCO. You won't try this drink in tourist places because it is not sold there. The drink is made from fresh coconut juice, coconut pulp and coconut milk.

Ending Point

Hotel - return to your hotel tentatively at 4-5 pm
