I am a British artist and filmmaker based in Paris, where I have spent the past six years exploring the city's relationship with the avant-garde. My background is in the history and philosophy of art, with a focus on cinema and digital media—research I pursued at the University of Kent and during a residency at Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains. For me, Paris is more than a backdrop; it is a subject of constant study. When I am not filming or editing, I spend my time researching the hidden narratives of the city, from the haunts of the New Wave filmmakers to the radical ideas of the Situationists. My walks are informal but deeply informed conversations. We move away from the standard landmarks to look at how the city has been shaped by the thinkers, writers, and filmmakers who saw Paris as a living text. I don't just share history; I enjoy discussing how the city’s architecture and cultural heritage influence our perspective today. Whether we are exploring iconic film locations through a director's eye or tracing the "layers" of a neighborhood's memory, I offer a perspective that combines historical context with a filmmaker’s eye for detail. I look forward to sharing a different, deeper side of Paris with you.

A lifelong francophile, I pursued an extensive education in French heritage studies. Now a graduate of Sorbonne University and Middlebury College, I continue to follow classes and conferences at a number of institutions in order to continue learning and consistently improve my tours. Based in Paris since 2022, I am dedicated to sharing the beauty and fascinating history of the city I call home. Following numerous collaborations with tour companies, I’ve chosen to branch out independently in order to provide better experiences for my guests. A resident of the neighborhood, I specialise in Latin Quarter experiences. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling (17 countries and counting!) collecting books, going to the cinema, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my cat, Snufkin.

I have traveled a lot and lived in different countries. I know what it is like to be a local and what it is like to be a tourist. I have a degree in sociology, so I know how to collect and analyze interesting facts. I also have a musical education, which gave me a strong background in the field of art. I really enjoy communicating with people and showing them the places that once made a strong impression on me. Tourists often say that my tours are something more than just sightseeing. They feel more like an interesting and engaging walk with an old friend who shares as much fascinating information as possible.
