Born and raised in the heart of the Omo Valley, Jinka, I have a deep respect for Ethiopia's diverse ethnicities, its rich culture, and its stunning landscapes. The Omo Valley is renowned for its cultural attractions, and I have dedicated my life to sharing this beauty with others. From a young age, I was passionate about becoming a tour guide, inspired by the senior guides in my area. With a strong desire to pursue my dreams, I worked diligently to earn my professional tour guiding license after moving to the capital, Addis Ababa, due to the lack of educational opportunities in my hometown. I graduated from Lion Ethiopia Tourism and Hotel College, earning my tour guide certification on April 12, 2020, and my Tour Operation Supervision certification on August 6, 2021. Since then, I have been fortunate to work as a tour guide, exploring the magical destinations throughout Ethiopia. My extensive experience and knowledge allow me to create incredible itineraries that cater to your adventurous spirit. I genuinely look forward to hosting you on your Ethiopian journey and promise to do my utmost to ensure a remarkable experience.

Greetings travelers, welcome onboard. I'm a certified young and passionate outdoor enthusiast who had been sponsored and fostered by a kind-hearted Dutch man from the Netherlands. I was still a teenager when I was taken to the capital city, Addis Ababa alongside my little brother to receive a better education. I'm originally from a small town in the omo valley called Keyafer. on that blessed day I was running after other tourists to sell small souvenirs when I was called by an English-speaking local guide from the area standing with my little brother and a tall descent looking white man in In front of a hotel room. At first, I was hesitant but then I slowly approached them. What followed after was an astonishing history. But here I'm, finished high school, went to a vocational training college to earn a diploma. where I attended special courses for tour service, tour guiding, tour operation, and management I then followed it with a Bachelor’s degree at a university to major in the field of Tourism and hotel management. I'm a responsible, caring, and friendly young man who takes his profession seriously and works hard to give his clients a memorable tour service worthy of their money. I also presume having lived with a Westerner smoothens my relationship with my clients and gives me the bragging right of understanding various cultures and backgrounds of my clients.

I am MAMARU, Born and raised in one of the remote corners of the Omo Valley Archaic tribal communities village. This has given me the opportunity to grow up living by fully understanding the authentic way of life of these unique tribal communities and made me a passionate local guide and expert regarding the life of these communities. I followed my dream of showing my people to the world and became a well equipped tourism expert by finalizing my college studies on Tour operating and guide and currently I work as a self made private service provider to all culture loving travelers who come to my area. I believe that I am the most complete Omo Valley culture guide with a real passion and connection to all the beautiful communities.
