My Name is Noureddine a licensed Tour Guide and I was born and bred in Tunisia My passion in life is history; or understanding why things happened when and where they did and what happened as a result. Whether it's an impressive building I've never seen before or a battlefield I've never previously visited or an event in history I didn't know about, I love finding out more. And I've found that others like hearing about my discoveries. This is the central core of my approach to guiding. I aim to show you sites and explain their history in terms of the events that took place there, why they happened there when they did and the consequences. In my guiding career over 25 years, I have had the pleasure to guide groups from all kind of nationalities and Background to all attractive parts and destinations of my country showing our way of life and culture and let them get involve with them by themselves. Holder of a Bachelor's of English Language and Literature, I had many professional experiences in Tourism industry before I was certified as an official tour guide by the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism in 2011. During the past decade, my freelance activities have led me from one fascinating experience to the next — from working as a translator and guide to hosting official guests of the Tunisian government like foreign ministers, MP's and corporate leaders . I accumulated a very good knowledge of Mediterranean history and culture, but above all exceptional communication skills and a pleasure to share my knowledge and my passion for history. My areas of expertise include cultural history, art, architecture, archaeology, culinary arts and photography. I speak English, French, Italian and Arabic. I take guests to undiscovered neighborhoods, historical areas, streets, restaurants and brings them along on a treasure hunt of local food , art and music in Tunis. I am a lover of painting, music and architecture and frequently attend music festivals and cultural events.
