I’m Logeswaran (also known as Vasanth), and for the past three years, I’ve been conducting cultural tours in Chennai and across South India. I host guests from around the world, offering personalized experiences in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and other parts of South India, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kerala. My most popular tour is the Chennai City Experience, where we explore the origins of this vibrant city and its rich cultural heritage. This tour includes city highlights like ancient temples, bustling bazaars, shopping complexes, historical monuments, museums, art galleries, and beautiful beaches such as Marina, Santhome, Beasant Nagar, and Pazhaverkadu Lake, along with an island trip. I also conduct heritage walks, sharing the story of Chennai’s transformation from an English settlement to a busy trading hub. As someone passionate about India’s biodiversity, I offer horticultural walks to showcase the region’s amazing plants and greenery. I love introducing my guests to the flavors of South Indian cuisine and encourage everyone to try the best local dishes for an authentic experience. Alongside hosting tours, I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree and pursue this work out of passion. I also create budget-friendly, customized itineraries based on your interests—whether it’s visiting temples, scenic beaches, hill stations, or exploring museums, forts, and monuments. I look forward to helping you explore the vibrant culture and history of South India!

I am a licensed guide and I have been a guide for several years now. I am passionate about creating unique and memorable experiences that are normally available only to locals or insiders. My specialty is helping clients understand how people live here, how they think, how they eat, and what a French Riviera lifestyle actually feels like and of course its history in very easy and pleasant form. I adapt my tours depending on each client. Going hand in hand with an Official Guide guarantees to your guests a quality visit.

Hello! My name is Tadashi. I was born and raised in Fukuoka and I've lived here all my life. I used to work for a local bank where I was mainly involved in export, import, and foreign exchange, etc. Afterwards I joined a university where I taught international economics and foreign trade for five years. I'm happy to arrange your tour plans according to your requests and help you to write your own unique story with me. If you're coming to Fukuoka for the first time, I recommend Tochoji Temple, Kushida Shrine and Fukuoka Castle Ruins where you can get feel for Japanese culture and history. Thirty minutes away from the center by train is Dazaifu. There you can enjoy a very famous shrine, Dazaifu Tenmangu, known as the home of " the god of literature or calligraphy." and Kyushu National Museum. Fukuoka is also a mecca for shopping and food. If you're coming to Fukuoka again, I recommend that you try local food, for example, Hakata Ramen-noodles in pork broth and locally caught fish. I can also take you to a traditional Japanese shopping arcade, Kawabata Shotengai. If you would like to get out of the city, we could go to Yanagawa, a town of canals, which is a one hour ride from the city center. You can try boat tours enjoying the leisurely view of the historic buildings and try Steamed Eel. Fukuoka travel tip: if you arrive in Fukuoka by JR, make sure to get off at "Hakata Station." Sorry, there's no "Fukuoka Station." on JR lines. Hakata is an old name for Fukuoka and your destination. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Aya M.
Hi, I’m Aya! A local guide from Osaka, born and raised in a traditional Japanese farmhouse. My family has been growing Mitsuba(japanese traditional vegetable)and seasonal vegetables for generations, and I love sharing the authentic countryside lifestyle with guests from around the world. After studying and working in Australia, I realized how deeply travelers value real connection with local people. That inspired me to create experiences where visitors can feel everyday Japan — not just observe it. In my tours, I introduce guests to the heart of Japanese culture: • Hands-on farm experiences at my family’s fields • Calligraphy in our traditional Japanese home • Tea time on the engawa, surrounded by nature One of the things I cherish most is omotenashi —Japan’s unique spirit of hospitality that values sincerity, care, and putting others before oneself. Through my experiences, I hope to share this quiet richness of Japanese life: the warmth, the thoughtfulness, and the deep sense of connection that locals naturally offer. My style is warm, welcoming, and relaxed. I guide at your pace, answer any questions, and make sure you feel comfortable — like visiting a friend’s home in the countryside. If you’re looking for genuine culture, meaningful moments, and a true local connection, I’d be honored to welcome you. Feel free to message me anytime.

I love Japan — its culture, history, and anime — and I’m always excited to share not just facts, but the soul of this place. On my tours, you will see not only the famous landmarks, but also hidden, fascinating corners of the island that few people know about. With me, you will experience the real Okinawa: taste local cuisine, hear legends, learn traditions, and glimpse the everyday life of the islanders. I speak both English and Japanese, so I can help you feel confident and comfortable in any situation. "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new sights, but in looking with new eyes" by Marcel Proust has increasingly shaped my travel approach in recent years. When I recall my most memorable overseas trip experiences, the highlight is often not a mainstream tourist attraction, but a serendipitous encounter off the beaten path. I hope to guide you to your serendipitous encounter. I love to travel ... my style is to spend more time with authentic local neighbourhoods visiting local markets, and shops, speaking to locals (language permitting), blending in (try!) and engaging in the daily activities of the locals. This also shaped my guiding approach; I seek to unearth local stories, unwritten practices, nuances of community dynamics, unique botanical features etc. (not regurgitate info from Google search results). I am equally comfortable discussing policy & governance comparisons, explaining municipal matters, sharing cultural nuances, tracing historical developments or pointing out minutiae like a tile design, a leaf's drip tip, an orchid's sepal. In my free time, I enjoy exploring, learning and sharing insights about this little island of Singapore. I attended UIUC in Illinois, USA for 3 years, worked for a German MNC for 5 years helped coordinate a 100 pax orphanage project in Indonesia for 12 years, so I am passionate with learning and sharing about different cultures. I am an adult educator at a polytechnic in the evening and enjoy guiding during my free time in the mornings. I have been a heritage guide since 2016 and have developed over 15 unique walking tours and clocked over 100 tours for schools, churches, seniors and other social groups. I am also a tourist guide licensed by STB (Singapore Tourism Board).
