I have lived in Venice since 2020 so I have built up quite a decent knowledge about the city and its sights. We will go around various districts of Venice and tell stories about churches and historical sites. By the end of the tour, I could suggest good restaurants in various districts.

When I left my hometown Düsseldorf in 1999 to move to Barcelona, the Catalan capital was rather a polluted, shady and even dangerous industrial site than the trendy and cosmopolitan tourist destination it is nowadays. My mission is to leave the beaten path and to make my customers discover unique historical sites, beautiful landscapes, vibrant street life and amazing food and wine experiences. For the tour we use a comfy, private SUV that fits 4 passengers + driver / guide. The tours can be done in English, Spanish, French and German and they can generally be customised to meet the interests and needs of the group at any time. During the tour you get an idea of the long and diverse history of the sites, local traditions s.a. insights about lifestyle, culture and social concerns.

Being a native from Villefranche-sur-Mer, located between Nice and Monaco and facing the world-famous Cap Ferrat, I grew up in the heart of the French Riviera. I loved going to see the festivities of the Nice Carnaval in February like the Menton lemon festival, the Monaco palace with its guards and its Cousteau Oceanic museum, the luxury cars of Monte-Carlo were something special for me because my father was a professional sports car mechanic who participated in the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix for more than 10 years. We were also lucky in May to enjoy the Cannes Film Festival and meet film actors and actresses or French televisions celebrities walking on the Boulevard de La Croisette. Every time I mention my first job outside of Nice, outside of France, I always have the same answer full of surprises " how did you end up in Idaho...?" Well, back in Feb. 2002, during the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, I had the great opportunity to work for two years at the famous Sun Valley Ski Resort as a restaurant and banquet manager. I enjoyed every opportunity to visit most of the West Side and have fond memories of it because it was so different from my hometown French Riviera and also another exclusive, "rich and famous" place to experience. Back in Nice, back in school to be certified as a licensed lecturer-guide, i now take every opportunity to show my clients my area as a local and make sure they feel at home, throughout their stay.
