“Visit to Sintra with a disappointing private guide- avoid Hugo”
Hugo was not the guide. He consistently emailed me indicating that he would be the guide and then at the last minute when we could no longer switch, he said he had hired someone else. This guide barely spoke English, gave no explanations, had no idea of the history and share minimal insight. Expensive tour and a waste of a lot of money. Avoid Hugo. He is not upfront Sintra itself and Peña Palace are spectacular but you can spend a lot less and enjoy as much with Viator

Your tour was conducted by one of our own professional driver-guides, who is a regular member of our team and represents Walkborder. Throughout our communication, I was always transparent, provided you with different options, and made every effort to help you organize the best possible experience. I even recommended purchasing tickets for Pena Palace and personally arranged them for you, without charging through this platform, specifically to help you avoid the higher costs associated with platform fees. I have always communicated openly and clearly with you, with the genuine intention of providing excellent service. For these reasons, I find your comments unfair and not an accurate representation of what was discussed or arranged. “Sintra, Boca do inferno, & Cascais”
Pedro promptly picked us up from our hotel as arranged at 9am. First stop was Sintra, Pena Palace. Once we arrived, we appreciated having Pedro not only drive us but also guide us up and thru the palace. Sintra is a very beautiful but incredibly busy area. Having Pedro guide & drive us made it so much easier. He shared lots of knowledge and is very easy to spend 8 hours with. We would recommend Pedro & GowithGuide to anyone.
