I´m Paulo, born and raised in this great and beautiful city of Aveiro which is also known as the "Portugueses Venice" because of its charm and the many canals that cross it! Since 2010, I have been working in tourism as a professional guide, so I have ample experience with walking tours and knowledge about the amazing city of Aveiro. I can assure you, you will love the time we spend together as my tours are known for being safe, comfortable, and relaxing while you get to know all about what the city is really like. I am passionate about welcoming people, and I am always delighted to socialize with different cultures, people, languages, and listen to their stories, and of course...having the opportunity to get to tell them all about my own! :) My experience in tourism activity allows me to create, develop, and offer true and unique experiences, valuing your time with full respect for your rest and freedom. I will welcome you with a great smile, followed by excellent recommendations on "what to visit, to see and amazing places off the beaten track in Aveiro", and I will give you a guide with a map that shows you how to see everything the city has to offer. My personal philosophy is, "Inspired by you" Do you accept the challenge? Your host

My name is João, a native son of Porto. I've been a certified Tourism Animator for the last 5 years, a Gentleman Rider for a few decades now and most importantly, in love with my city, her stories and importance in the World history. After a successfull, but not very fullfilling, career in management and mechatronics engineering, I decided to create experiences that would allow me to work on and share my passions: my classic motorcycles, the love of my city, history and storytelling ( yes, I talk a bit!) That combination came together naturally to create my tour experiences that use the old neighborhoods, landmarks, viewpoints and facades to tell you the history and stories of Porto. ( It also allows me to start tours with guests and end with friends. ) My tours focus on: Porto history, local stories, local perspective, landmarks, vistas & viewpoints, photography, Port wine tasting. After being a tourism guide for 5 years I realize that meeting new people and seeing them fall in love with Porto is what I really love to do. I hope to meet in Porto soon! Disclaimer: I'm also a part of secret world conspiracy to make people fall in love with Porto. . . you've been warned :) I will be your private guide. Welcome to Porto!

Having more than 15 years of experience as an environmental consultant in different structures in France and abroad, I am now reorienting myself toward an activity that has always fascinated me. Eco-tourism and contact with people from different parts of the world are an environment in which I like to evolve. I take the opportunity to enrich this activity with my professional knowledge and my skills in environmental project management and local culture. We are a team of professional guides, with a lot of experience behind us, each specialising in different areas. We cover different disciplines such as: geology, biology, photography, marine biology. Furthermore, we are of different nationalities, which makes us even more valuable and versatile.

I am passionate about discovering history, in the same place that happened. For that I walk all around Buenos Aires, observe, read and study old photos. And then I prepare a guided tour! I studied theater 4 years with Carolina Adamovsky, I did a 4 month course "Guided Visit: conceptual framework, planning and guidance techniques" by Roberto García Coni and another 4 month course "Buenos Aires neighbourhoods" (2018). In the United Kingdom, I graduated in Information Systems and returned to Porto to get a Master's degree in Management. During my degree in the United Kingdom, I made friends with students from various corners of the world: Italians, Germans, French, Senegalese, Thais, Malawians, Turks, Poles, Czechs, etc., also living in students accommodations in the university campus, where the kitchens were shared, one of the things that gave me greater pleasure, was to share our different gastronomies, besides, each one love to mention what can best be discovered in each country and in their native cities, without forgetting soccer preferences! At the same time, I got a part-time job on the weekends at the Holiday Inn Hotel, to help with my expenses. There where I worked nights in the bar and restaurant. Here, once again, I shared and heard stories from the four corners of the world from my colleagues and guests. Then, on my return to Portugal and after taken a Master degree in Business Management at FEP (Faculty of Economics of Porto), I started working 9 hours a day in an accounting office making business and financial plans. Tired and seeing that this would not be a future for me, I decided to create my own business in the tourism sector and in an area that has always attracted me, the travel sector. That's how I decided to open a travel agency initially specializing in incoming tourism, more specifically on sightseeing tours and later in outgoing tourism. As I felt I needed more knowledge in the area, I enrolled in the course of certified tourism driver of the Escola de Turismo do Porto. This was an intensive 350-hour course of study in local guiding and domestic and international tours directing. I received my SNATTI (National Union for Tourist Guides) membership certificate on May December 20,2020, and it has been a blessing ever since. I have a Portuguese Class B Driver’s License and I also have a First Aid Certificate.

I believe that every place has a story. Mozambique, a pearl of the Indian Ocean whose capital is Maputo, has a lot to discover, see, experience and remember. As a Guide, since 2013, I strive to tell these stories in an interesting way, where visiting the scenario in which the story evolved brings a sense of reality to the visits. I plan my itineraries through interesting areas, conveying diverse information along the way, as many visitors want to see where and how local people live. I strive to provide a quality personal experience that is unique and unforgettable. I appreciate individual communication, discussing points of interest raised by tourists. I customize the itinerary to suit special interests and am happy to change things up during the tour as long as there are no inconveniences. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Hello! Welcome to my page and hopefully soon, Lisbon! I am a born and bred Lisbon Native, having grown up near the seaside. The city, its people, food, neighborhoods, rich diverse history,, storied nightlife and world-renowned cultural treasures were my playground and classroom. After MBA, I lived for Five years in London and traveled around Europe - and then returned to my home town where I have been enjoying my work in Tourism ever since. I’m on a traning program to become a professional guide although I tour people in Lisbon for many years working. I have lead groups, both large and small, that include students, adults, business professionals, and retirees from abroad. I love taking guests around my beautiful city, and re-discovering its majesty and wonder with visitors - this is truly a privilege. I excel at private tours in my van and in sharing the magical experiences that can only be found in this dynamic and historic city. Together, we will unlock it's secrets and discover why Lisbon, the starting point of the first globalisation of the world, is such a beloved, romantic and trendy city. If you wish, I would be happy to work together and plan your perfect itinerary with a customized experience - or you may choose from one or more of my predesignated tour options.

If you are someone who enjoys a more local and less touristy approach and if you appreciate a guide who can educate you on the country and/or region (and this 900-year old country has "been there, done that" and therefore has A LOT to reveal) , who can give you good food/wine suggestions, and also take you discreetly and in comfort everywhere you would like to go both ON and OFF the beaten track, I am your man. Some time ago I discarded the traditional "organized tours" concept. I don't like tight schedules and itineraries, packed tourist cars and vans, waiting in huge lines at tourist attractions, going on auto-pilot in my interactions with my clients because. . well. . . "they're just another batch of easily forgettable and nameless faces like the ones the day before", stressing in traffic in order to stick to a rigid plan, and so on. I hate that when I am buying tours for myself abroad so I assumed that there were more people like me. And I was right. Those are the ones who I now work for. That includes you.
