Hello there, I'm a historian with expertise on the 20th century in Austria and Europe. I'm writing my thesis about cultural and museum policies during the 1930s/1940s/1950s in Vienna. Beside that and more important to you I'm a passionate guide since 2015 who can't wait to make people fall in love with Vienna and its region. I especially guide private groups, families and individuals. Often with a Jewish background since I lived in Israel a couple of years and during my graduation also studied Israel and Jewish studies at Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel. I love walking tours. I love food tours. I regularly guide guests through Schönbrunn Palace, Hofburg Palace, Kunsthistorisches Museum, Treasury, St. Stephan's cathedral etc. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Ann T.
Hi ! My name is Ann and I am very proud to say that my hometown is Dublin. Like most of the Irish I have what we call the gift of the gab .. I love to chat with people and that combined with the experience of cooking a meal together and meeting other visitors from all over the world makes this a different type of evening ! It's not fancy complicated food, I use the best of Irish ingredients and traditional recipes and you will take home my little recipe book so you can recreate the meal for your friends and family ! As well as years experience in the Irish hospitality and catering I am also a qualified tour guide so I am always happy to advise you on where to go and what to do while you are in Ireland. It would be really great to meet you and welcome you to my home for a unique Irish experience.

Hi, I'm Caitlin - a native of Tipperary living and working in Dublin for the past 10 years. I am a historian and postdoctoral researcher based in Dublin offering tours of the city focusing on the modern period - approximately the last 250 years. My particular areas of interest are social history and the revolutionary period. I have over 10 years of experience working within the tourism industry, with experience creating and delivering tours at the Abbey Theatre, the National Museum of Ireland, the 1916 Walking Tour, and Glasnevin Cemetery, and as a freelance tour guide with companies such as Peter Somers Travel. I have curated exhibitions on Irish history and Irish life for Clerys and the National Archives of Ireland, and regularly present at conferences on Irish history. I completed my PhD in Public History at Trinity College, Dublin, where I studied how history was used to create different identities in the two Irish states after partition. I chose to study public history because I am really passionate about connecting the public with the history all around us and engaging them with it in their everyday life. I have been published in both popular and academic presses in Irish history, and am a regular contributor to podcasts, radio shows, and documentaries. I love engaging people with history and if you want to learn about Dublin, the history that shaped it, and how it continues to impact the present day then send me a message. Please tell me a little about your trip, what your particular interests are, and your availability. Please note walking tours are approximately 2 hours.

Sean K.
A little about me – I am a Londoner (‘born and bred’ as the saying goes) and, following the rigorous training, in March 2005 I qualified as a registered Tourist Guide (with the Blue Badge tourist guiding qualification, the highest guiding qualification in the UK). Since then I have worked exclusively as a professional tourist guide. The Blue Badge qualification allows me to guide in key visitor sites such as Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral. I have guided groups of all sizes (from single individual via couples, families and all through to double-decker bus parties of around 60 individuals). Since 2007 I have been personally recommended by American travel writer Rick Steves in his London and European guide books which has led to the opportunity to work with clients in developing the itineraries that best suited their needs and interests (taking into account factors such as venues opening days, dates, times and peak periods). For me guiding is both a privilege and a great pleasure. The last year has of course been tough for everyone involved in the Travel and Tourism industry and I have truly missed the day to day experience of guiding visitors in and around London and other locations (ie Windsor, Stonehenge). I am able to offer themed tours Iconic London, Shakespeare’s London, Beatles London and Hidden London (to name a few). My ethos is that visitors enjoy and are entertained by what they see and hear (and learn along the way!)

I've been working as tour guide for 14 years and I have a deep knowledge about the city of Florence (where I live) and Tuscany state. Florence is an open-air museum and I can take you back in time walking along its medieval alleyways and hidden little squares. A Licensed tour guide is of course an added value to your stay in Florence because you will learn so much in a little time. Moreover, you have the chance to discover neighborhoods out from the tourist area and taste local and traditional food and Wines at the local market. I am very well experienced so I can also customize personal and private Itineraries both in town and in the country side: wine tours, olive oil and cheese tasting, medieval villages, for individuals and small groups up to 8 people. Best Regards Chiara

I've been living in Dublin for 30 years, and I've worked as National Tour Guide for 6 years. My customers are mainly Japanese but I can guide visitors of other nationalities as far as they speak English. I worked as an English teacher in Japan. I came to UK on a career break under the Cultural Exchange Programme. During the period I visited a friend in Dublin. I liked, decided to stay in Dublin, and consequently met my husband. I have been living in Dublin for 30 years. As well as business people, many of my friends visited me from Japan. I showed them around in Ireland many times, and enjoyed it very much, which made me to decide to become a Tour Guide.

Kozo Y.
Hello! I'm Kozo. I'm currently living in Chiba, which is one of the biggest cities in Japan and located in the suburbs of Tokyo. So, I can guide you to the sightseeing spots in Tokyo and the suburbs, which include Asakusa, Nikko, Kamakura, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, and more. In those places, you can experience traditional Japanese culture and beautiful sceneries. I'm originally from Kobe, one of the major cities in the western part of Japan. So, if my schedule permits, I may also guide you to the attractive spots in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe. I took a Master's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Tokyo and an MBA degree at the University of Massachusetts. I am a professional engineer in industrial engineering, an industrial safety consultant, a registered management consultant, and a licensed guide-interpreter. I have been working for a Japanese chemical company for many years. So, if you are interested not only in Japanese culture but also in technologies and businesses in Japan, I may be a good company. :) As a part of my job as an engineer, I often travel outside Japan. The countries that I visited last year are Singapore, China, the United States, Mexico, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Among them, Singapore is my frequent destination. Also, in the past, I visited Spain, Italy, England, France, Hungary, India, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, etc. So, if you are from one of those countries, you may ask me how I felt when I visited your motherland. :) Okay, thank you for reading my self-introduction to the end. I hope I have a chance with you!

I was born and raised in Kamakura. I have spent most of my life in Japan except 2 years in the U.S. I am a certified national tour guide living in Kamakura. There are many temples and shrines in Kamakura. Asakusa has a world-famous Senso-ji temple with Thunder Gate. They are not only the holly places where people come to worship but the historic sites where visitors can touch and feel the Japanese cultures and traditions. I am very happy to share my knowledge with the foreign visitors who want to know about Japan. Visiting the old historic places is the gateway to understand Japan. Asakusa is in the downtown Tokyo. Kamakura is one hour from Tokyo station by JR train. So why not come and join my tour. I am waiting for your reservation.
