My name is Luis and I was born and raised in Rio. I believe I have always been a tour guide. I use to bug my kindergarten teacher to do show-and-tell every other day. Now every day is show-and-tell! I get to show off my city, and take people to see places I like to go and do the things that I love to do. In 2003, after living for 8 years abroad, I've decided to come back to my hometown, and for the past 17 years I've been working full time as a licensed and accredited private tour guide in Rio. I'm quite fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and have a degree in tourism and an MBA in environmental management.

Dear Visitors! I am happy to welcome You on my page! I am a historian and a licensed tour guide in Hungary. As a tour guide my main goal is to get the most of the dear visitor's time, during their visit in the most convenient way possible. That is why my tours are personalized with flexible departure times and routes. I'm fond of history and I am fascinated by the various cultures. I graduated as a historian. Being a tour guide, I found what I was looking for. It is a great feeling, when I can present the values of Hungary, share interesting stories and information to visitors who long to see and know more, while I also constantly expand my skills and get to know new people. For me, the real success is the joy and satisfaction of my guests. I work in the field of tourism for more than 10 years. My historic and cultural tours embrace the most beautiful and the most important attractions of Budapest, which treasure and revive the history of Hungary. The walking tours provide an exquisite opportunity to immerse you in the urban maelstrom, gain insight into people's everyday lives, try out the developed public transport network of Budapest, including Europe's second oldest tram. In case you would rather sit back and enjoy the sightseeing in comfort, you can choose one of my driving tours. I wish you wonderful time in Hungary! Best regards, George

Szia! Hi! Hallo! Ceau! My name is Tiberiu(s), or Tibi for short, and I am an IT Service Manager who found his passion in tour guiding over 5 years ago. With late-afternoon and weekend availability (full time as of June), I am more than excited to take you on a mini-journey, including not only the main attractions of the city, but also the lesser-known ones including some tastings. I am also more than happy to adapt the tours to your needs and we may even go outside of the city, if you'd like to, since I own a car. I am also available for one or the other daytrip in or outside of Budapest, just let me know about 1-2 weeks in advance, so I can plan my schedule accordingly. Before booking though, please contact me online in advance, just to make sure. "In the end... we only regret the chances we didn't take" (Lewis Caroll) I want to make memories for people from all over the world! And most important of all, I like to give them an actual taste of our city. You just can't visit Hungary and not try some of our traditional foods (not for veggies or vegans though). Hope to meet you soon and "Viszlát", as we say in Hungarian!

Born and educated in Austria, I worked in fashion in Paris, London and New York. After leaving the fashion and advertising industry in New York, I made a career change to the tourism industry, which I have been involved with for the last 20 years. I’ve travelled with visitors throughout the United States, giving tours in major cities. In New York City — my hometown - I work as a local Tour Guide. I love the city because of its vibrancy, pulse and culture. Therefore, I want you to enjoy it through the eyes of a New Yorker. I welcome small groups for New York City walking tours - on foot, by taxi cab or bus - as per your preference. I provide an intimate picture of what New York City is all about by covering certain highlights such as Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Lincoln Center and Times Square. But I‘m always open to the wishes of the client. My aim is to enlarge knowledge and have a great time!

Hi, I'm Caitlin - a native of Tipperary living and working in Dublin for the past 10 years. I am a historian and postdoctoral researcher based in Dublin offering tours of the city focusing on the modern period - approximately the last 250 years. My particular areas of interest are social history and the revolutionary period. I have over 10 years of experience working within the tourism industry, with experience creating and delivering tours at the Abbey Theatre, the National Museum of Ireland, the 1916 Walking Tour, and Glasnevin Cemetery, and as a freelance tour guide with companies such as Peter Somers Travel. I have curated exhibitions on Irish history and Irish life for Clerys and the National Archives of Ireland, and regularly present at conferences on Irish history. I completed my PhD in Public History at Trinity College, Dublin, where I studied how history was used to create different identities in the two Irish states after partition. I chose to study public history because I am really passionate about connecting the public with the history all around us and engaging them with it in their everyday life. I have been published in both popular and academic presses in Irish history, and am a regular contributor to podcasts, radio shows, and documentaries. I love engaging people with history and if you want to learn about Dublin, the history that shaped it, and how it continues to impact the present day then send me a message. Please tell me a little about your trip, what your particular interests are, and your availability. Please note walking tours are approximately 2 hours.

I've been working as tour guide for 14 years and I have a deep knowledge about the city of Florence (where I live) and Tuscany state. Florence is an open-air museum and I can take you back in time walking along its medieval alleyways and hidden little squares. A Licensed tour guide is of course an added value to your stay in Florence because you will learn so much in a little time. Moreover, you have the chance to discover neighborhoods out from the tourist area and taste local and traditional food and Wines at the local market. I am very well experienced so I can also customize personal and private Itineraries both in town and in the country side: wine tours, olive oil and cheese tasting, medieval villages, for individuals and small groups up to 8 people. Best Regards Chiara

I've been living in Dublin for 30 years, and I've worked as National Tour Guide for 6 years. My customers are mainly Japanese but I can guide visitors of other nationalities as far as they speak English. I worked as an English teacher in Japan. I came to UK on a career break under the Cultural Exchange Programme. During the period I visited a friend in Dublin. I liked, decided to stay in Dublin, and consequently met my husband. I have been living in Dublin for 30 years. As well as business people, many of my friends visited me from Japan. I showed them around in Ireland many times, and enjoyed it very much, which made me to decide to become a Tour Guide.
