“Visit to JoBurg”
We had 3 days in JoBurg wanted to make the most it. Making the decision to get a personal guide was a good one. We are two females so having Nathan provided us safety as well as a great way to see areas of Joburg we would not have done by taking a mainstream tour or self navigating this city. Nathan provided informative and detailed commentary, made sure we got tickets and into the venues before leaving us to explore at our pace. He was able to get us taken through a shanty town amd into the home of a family which was very much a privilege to be able to do this.. Great having someone there waiting when you finished. Maybe adding a few more specific tours to your repertoire Nathan may be useful. For.those with more time we recommend having a day break in between visiting venues such as Apartheid museum amd Constitutional hill as so much to absorb. I would even consider having a couple of visits to the Apartheid museum and do half each day to fully appreciate the wealth of history this offers. Fully recommend Nathan..thanks for making our short trip to JoBurg a great experience

Dear Ngaire, Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to share this amazing review—it truly made my day! It was an absolute pleasure guiding you and your friend during your three days in Jo’burg, and I’m thrilled you felt the experience was worthwhile. I’m especially happy to know you felt safe while exploring the city’s deeper layers—that’s always my top priority. Hearing that you saw a side of Johannesburg you wouldn’t have discovered alone (or on a mainstream tour) is exactly why I love what I do: sharing the real Joburg, safely and personally. The visit to the shanty town and the family’s home was a true highlight for me too—thank you for calling it a “privilege.” Facilitating those raw, human moments is what gives my work meaning, and I’m honored I could share that with you both. Your suggestions are gold! I’m already brainstorming new specialized tours to add to my repertoire—your feedback is incredibly helpful. And you’re spot-on about pacing intense visits like the Apartheid Museum and Constitutional Hill. Next time, I’d love to design a more spread-out itinerary (maybe even split museum visits!) so you can absorb all that powerful history without overwhelm. Thanks again for trusting me with your Jo’burg adventure and for that glowing recommendation. If you ever return—or have friends heading this way—I’d be over the moon to show you more of our city’s hidden gems! Warmest regards, Nathan

“Walking tour to V & A Waterfront”
We booked the tour to V & A Waterfront with Elizabeth. She was absolutely amazing. She picked up at our hotel and drove to the V & A Waterfront, where we spent the whole day. It was a beautiful day. She is knowledgeable and introduced us to the landmarks that make up the area’s history, including the Clock Tower, , the Clock Tower District, the Robinson Dry Dock, the Zeitz MOCAA Museum, the yellow frame, the sculptured animals, the Swing Bridge, the gateway to Robben Island, the Two Oceans Aquarium. She was not in a hurry, she let us take our time. We had wonderful photos, specially on that very day when Table Mountain was visible in the background. She advised us the restaurant where to eat, we had our lunch at the V & A Food Market , which is near the Nobel Square. She even came to shop with us at the Watershed, which specializes in South African arts and crafts. I firmly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a tour in Cape Town. If ever, I go back to Cape Town, I will certainly book my tours with her
