A Taste of Cape Town before you say Adieu. I will collect you and your luggage at the cruise terminal in a Hyundai H1 and take you to the two oldest wine farms in the country to savor their wines. We then enjoy a divine lunch of typical Cape cuisine before transferring you to Cape Town International Airport by 15h00 local time.

Meeting Point

Cape Town Cruise Terminal

- I will collect you and your luggage at the Cruise Terminal in my Hyundai H1 and take you to your first wine tasting, as I tell you about the early history of the Cape and the interesting people that made it possible. At your first tasting you have the opportunity to experience the variety of Sauvignon Blancs and Cap Classique's produced at this award-winning cool climate vineyard.

Steenberg Vineyards

Our first stop is Steenberg Vineyards, the oldest registered farm in the Cape, renowned for its award-winning white wines and delectable Cap Classique. You can enjoy their Delightful Sauvignon Blanc selection or start your day in style with spectacular Cap Classique selection. you will hear about the founder of the farm and the interesting journey to becoming the first woman landowner in the Cape.

Groot Constantia

Groot Constantia is the oldest wine farm in the country. it has been producing wine since 1685 and still going strong. The terroir, cool climate and abundant winter rainfall make it an ideal place to grow spectacular grapes. After a tasting of their wares enjoy a lunch at Jonkershuis (young man's house) where you can sample the local cuisine which has elements of the history of the Cape including the Malay style spiciness as well as the more traditional Dutch style cooking.
