Mineral World

One of the worlds largest gemstone factories where gemstones from around the world are polished and shaped. visit the Rock shop for collectable minerals or the Topstone shop for beautifully crafted polished gemstones and jewelry. if you are feeling sporty you could try your hand at Cave Golf!

Boulders Beach Penguin colony

Here we visit one of two mainland African penguin breeding colonies for the endangered African penguin, also known as the Jackass penguin for its loud braying mating call. Please do not touch the penguins as they will peck and their beaks are very sharp and serrated.

Black Marlin Restaurant

For lunch we stop at the Black Marlin, a beautiful seaside restaurant offering an extensive fish and seafood menu with garden terrace and ocean panorama. For those not in the mood for seafood they cater for you too with offerings of chicken, lamb, pork and steak. They also cater for vegetarian and vegan diets. Their desserts are to die for.

Cape Point

The South-western most point of Africa, the smallest of the 6 world floral biomes and the most prolific with over nine thousand distinct species of which almost eight thousand can be found in this reserve. be sure to enjoy a ride on the Funicular to the top light house and Gaze out to the Atlantic Ocean where the winter storms gave us the name the Cape of Storms. As we drive through the reserve keep an eye out for the wildlife, though they are shy, with some luck you can see ostrich, Bontebok, Zebra and the world's largest antelope the Eland. There are also many smaller mammals and reptiles and over 250 species of bird. And that is just on the land, Seals whales and dolphins are also seen around this area season dependent.

Scenic drive

A scenic sunset drive along Chapmans peak drive (conditions permitting) and through Hout Bay and back to Cape Town via the Atlantic seaboard. This 18-kilometer stretch of stunning coastline nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the steep mountain peaks of Table Mountain National Park.
