Join me as we visit three iconic wine farms in the Stellenbosch area and get to see local wildlife, sample divine wines and Cap Classique style bubbles. Lunch is artisanal and delicious, followed by some spectacular wines from truly historic wine farms along with stories about the people that made these farms what they are.

- I will collect you from your accommodation in an air-conditioned Hyundai H1 van and safely drive you to our first venue.

Villera Wine farm

We arrive at Villera wine farm and get ready to go on a game drive where you can see Springbuck, Kudu, Giraffe, Eland, Gemsbok and many more. There are over 100,000 indigenous trees on this 230Ha Wildlife sanctuary as well as 12 dam and marsh areas attracting a huge variety of birdlife.

After the drive there is a tasting of 6 wines or Cap Classique's

Simonsig Family Vineyards

Here we visit the tasting room where guests can relax under oak trees in summer or in front of the fireplace in winter and taste through the wonderful range of wines alongside some delicious platters and Neapolitan-style pizzas.

Muratie Wine Estate

Our last tasting takes place at Muratie, a farm once owned by Martin Melck that stayed in his family for 120 years and now, since 1987 is once again owned by his decedents. Here we will be treated to the six Flagship wines that embody the heritage of this farm.
