The Cradle of Humankind tour will begin with a guided tour of the Maropeng Visitors Centre after which a visit and underground guided tour of the nearby Sterkfontein Caves.
Both sites are situated in an UNESCO World Heritage Site (Proclaimed in 2000).

Here you will learn about the birth of our planet and journey through to present day Earth.
Sterkfontein Caves
A coffee shop is on site for lunch and refreshments.
Experience the excitement of a guided underground tour of an active archeological dig site. The Sterkfontein Caves are also part of an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour duration is one hour.
