About Tour Guide Aaaa A.
My name is Yasuko, but my friends call me Yakko for short. I was born and raised in Japan and have lived in Tokyo for 14 years. I know a great deal about spots and restaurants in Tokyo… some of my favorites are Asakusa, Harajuku, Shinjuku and Meguro. My favorite hobbies include cycling, watching baseball games and Sumo matches. I am passionate about various aspects of Japanese traditional culture, especially Kimono, and of course Sake (rice wine).

We are a family of 4, two kids of 13 and 8 years old, that could not be so easy to handle sometimes in a huge city as Tokyo, but with Yakko we had a splendid tour and day, she made us feel Tokyo as we were from Tokyo, we went to so many lovely places and taste so many delightful food, homemade bakeries, cookies, walks, we definitive recommend Yakko as a professional and funny tourist guide, for sure you are going to love Tokyo. Thanks Yakko for such splendid day with my family!

Cooking Japanese Cuisine at a private home

This tour was beyond excellent! Yakko is a very kind-hearted, bubbly and a very enthusiastic tour guide. Even in the own comfort of her own home when you are there cooking, she makes you feel right at home. We first started out by entering a small supermarket which is also where myself, my mother and Yakko met the cooking teacher to gather the ingredients for what we would need to cook the food. They provided me and my mother with great information about the foods that we expressed an interest in. After purchasing the foods, we took a short walk to Yakko's apartment. I even enjoyed the walk. After arriving at her apartment we removed our outdoor footwear and wore the provided slippers to wear around Yakko's home. She then showed us around her home, her rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and the stunning view from the apartments living room window. The view was outstanding. We then started to prepare the foods with the cooking teacher helping us. We washed our hands of course firstly. Some parts of preparing the foods were difficult, but overall an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, so me and my mother felt comfortable in the enviorment of Yakko and the cooking teacher. The food we cooked was Teriyaki chicken, Miso soup, and a stew made up of daikon, carrots, pork meat and rice, It was absolutely delicious. Me and my mother thank Yakko for being so kind and has a precious personality. We engaged in conversations to find out that we shared the same intrests in certain things, especially music. You're likely to end up being friends with Yakko after the tour as she is so friendly. From Chizzey & Marcia, thank you for the phenomenal, outstanding and brilliant experience. We didn't want to go back to our hotel at the end. We had such a terrific time, we thank you sincerely. Also, thank you to the very lovely cooking teacher, she was wonderful too! We hope to see you again soon!
