Hallo zusammen! Ich heiße Masahiro, aber meine Freunde nennen mich Masa. Nach meinem Studium in Tokio habe ich von 2006 bis 2013 in Wien gelebt. 2013 bin ich endgültig nach Japan zurückgekehrt. Während meiner Zeit in Wien habe ich die deutschsprachige Welt und ihre Kultur sehr intensiv kennengelernt. Heute möchte ich eine Brücke zwischen dem deutschsprachigen Raum und Japan sein – und genau deshalb arbeite ich als Reiseleiter. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass diese Aufgabe meine Lebensaufgabe geworden ist. Für mich ist ein Guide so etwas wie ein privater Diplomat. Er verbindet Menschen aus verschiedenen Ländern und Kulturen und hilft ihnen, einander besser zu verstehen. Ich habe bereits Erfahrung darin, meine Gäste durch viele verschiedene Orte in Japan zu führen, unter anderem durch: • Tokio • Kamakura( Kanagawa) • die Region um den Fuji • Kawagoe(Saitama) • Nikko(Tochigi) • Karuizawa (Nagano) • Kanazawa(Ishikawa) • Kyoto • Osaka • Kobe • Himeji • Nagasaki …und natürlich gibt es noch viele weitere Orte zu entdecken! Ich wohne heute in der Nähe von Tokio. Deshalb sind Touren in Tokio und der Umgebung für mich besonders gut machbar. Eine Reise macht das Leben bunt! “Not worth the money”
We booked a 6h trip in Tokyo costing more than 380 USD altogether. While Takano Y was a good guide, and reliably took us to the pre agreed sightseeing’s, our overall summary of that day is mixed. All of the spots could have been visited by ourselves easily and without delays. We were most impressed, how easy it has become to navigate in Tokyo, how many English speaking people would support you, thus recommend to save your money for more value add activities rather than wasting for a totally overpriced escort.

“Art, culture, lunch and nature”
Once again we were treated to a wonderful day out with Yamasan, whose choices for us were perfect. We started with the Edo Museum, a must for visitors’ education about the development of Tokyo through its history. This was followed by lunch close by the Sumo Basho, a delicious and typical noodle based meal. Onto the Hokusai Museum which broadened our knowledge of reduction printing techniques and insights to the evolution of his work. Finally we visited the Rikugien Gardens which provided us with tranquil time to reflect on our day. On the three occasions we have spent time with Yamasan he has proved himself to be wise, thoughtful, humorous and a good friend. We shall miss him. Arigatoo gozaimasu

“Hokusai Museum, Senso-Ji Temple, Shinto Shrine in Ueno Park”
Ritsuko was a wonderful guide for our first day in Tokyo. She introduced us to the subway system and led us all over town, providing useful information and stories about each of the sites we visited. My favorite site was the Hokusai Museum which had not been part of her plan but she happily accommodated us. She then steered us to a restaurant near the museum for a great lunch.
