Hi, my name is Ed. I started Kayak in Amsterdam in 2019 to share my passion for this city with people from all over the world. The Amsterdam canals are unique in their beauty and history, and to explore them from your own kayak is a truly magical and unforgettable experience. With our personalized tours you can discover Amsterdam in freedom and at your own pace. We show you the highlights, but also take you to interesting and beautiful places where the big tour boats can’t go. With small groups of maximum 5 people our friendly and experienced local guides will make sure your tour is safe and fun. We are centrally located so your tour along the canals will start right away.

Important

I prefer to do the kayak tours in the mornings as it is less busy on the canals. If your schedule doesn’t allow you to go in the morning, contact us for other options.

Children below the age of 10 years old are not allowed on the tours. If you feel an exception could be made, please contact us. The kayaks can accommodate a wide range of people. However, if you are much taller or heavier than average, please contact us to discuss.
