About Tour Guide Raul A.
I studied tourism, and I have been a tour guide for several districts of Santiago and several museums in the past. I am passionate about history and wines. I am also a professional bartender. I have lived in New Zealand and France and recently conquered my 48th visited country (and I'm going for more). I worked for several years as a business executive for several multinationals, so I can be helpful in understanding the country and the economics.
I love what I do, and I would love to show you my country the way I would like to visit it.
Important
I work as a tour guide on a full-time basis. On Mondays I let museums rest, but I keep visiting wineries. I studied tourism, and I have been a guide for several Santiago districts and museums. I have lived in other countries, and I would love to show you my city and my country the way it should be.
I can also be helpful in other special interests you may have because I am a professional bartender, and I have worked as a business executive for several multinationals. You will never be bored on my tours!!

Santiago | Horseback Riding & Asado
You will be picked up at your accommodation and taken to Viña el Principal. Once there, you will get comfortable with your horse and make a 40-minute horseback riding trail. Once there, we will have a typical asado, looking at the Andes. and enjoying the afternoon with stories and laughs. Finally, you will be taken back to your hotel.
Santiago | Wine tasting tour and Andes Sunset Experience
The sunset experience is coming close to the Andes and getting to know one of the most beautiful vineyards in Chile. We will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to Santiago Downtown, where your guide will help you understand the history and culture of the country. We will drive one hour to Pirque, where you will have a 5-glass wine tasting and dinner experience, looking at the Andes in the sunset. Once you finish your dinner, we will take you back to your accommodation.
Santiago | Santa Rita Historical Winery
The history of the Chilean Republic starts here! As with many of the Hispanic colonies in the Southern Cone, Chilean independence is a concatenation of events, of which the 120 patriots that stayed in this winery is among the most relevant. We will take care of your transportation. Visit Santiago Downtown and the Andean Museum of Culture, the vineyard, and an experience of 3-glass wine tasting (you get to keep your glass!).
Santiago | Casablanca Valley Wine Tasting
After pickup at your hotel, we will drive to Santiago Downtown, where your guide will explain the main landmarks of the city and the history behind iconic buildings like La Moneda Government Palace. We will then head to Casablanca Valley, home of the most prestigious Chilean white wines, and discover one of the most influential wineries in the Valley, Casas del Bosque. You will finally be taken back to your hotel
Santiago | Walking Tour and Precolumbian Art Museum
The Santiago Precolumbian Art Museum is this guide's personal favorite. This is the kind of museum that really lets you learn in a very visual way and make context possible. The influence of the Incas, the Mapuche culture, and the reason why Chilean people are the way they are can be easily understood by visiting our little pre-Columbian MOMA. A piece of Art.
