This is where the red paint used on som many houses in Sweden comes from and where art, fairy tales, industry and nature blends into one. Hello - my name is Jessica and welcome to Sweden - Välkommen! I am so happy you have chosen to travel to my home city 'Stockholm'. Even if you are only here for a short while - I would like to introduce you to our Swedish culture and traditions whilst showing you some unique parts of Stockholm and its surroundings, places that are off the beaten track as well as all the must sees! If you wish to go in-depth about life in Sweden then I have written a book under the title "Stockholm, Sweden - At Your Fingertips" and it can be found on Amazon. I have lived abroad half of my life - in Kenya, Israel, Greece etc. and what a fantastic world this is! Now I would like to share with you "my world" here in Sweden. I would love to show you the sights and sounds of Stockholm. If you have already been here before, why not let me show you the tranquil suburb of Lidingö - away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Maybe a hike through one of our nature reserves, visit a farm from the 18th century and for the hardy, maybe a dip in the lake. In 2021 I started as a tourist guide in Gothenburg and its surrondings. This is the year I formally authorized after eight months of theoretical studies and practical training. In my youth I worked for Atlas Travel, Sweden for five years, and guided up to 60 people during many excursions. Lived and worked abroad in seven locations (including Tunisia, Chamonix, Paris and London). Since 2021 I have guided many walking tours, bus tours, private groups and tourist groups. My languages are Swedish and English. I also speak German and French but haven't authorised in those languages yet. My future plan is to do so. Since four years I have taken seven courses in Gothenburg University in historic Sweden and west Sweden history. I worked for 28 years with AstraZeneca; a global biopharmaceutical company. My main roles were; section/group manager, project manager, quality strategist. March 2022 to August 2025 I worked in the Västra Götaland region with inspiring research and innovation in primary care.

“Eddine is a perfet guide!”
Eddine was an excellent guide: he planned the itinerary perfectly, which wasn't easy because we only had a few hours to explore Stockholm. He was very patient with our children (even offering them a cake!) and very pleasant with us. he loves his job and Stockholm, and I deeply recommend him!

“Excellent Day with Superb Attention to Needs of the Handicapped”
We had a wonderful day tailored to the needs of a wheelchair-bound tourist. Stockholm is a difficult city for someone handicapped, but Sophie and her driver and husband made the day very easy for us. We had a car, which was necessary to cover the distances, and were let out very close to all best tourist sites. We had a heavy rainstorm, but this was not a problem with the attentive service we received. Great day with happy guides with a lot of personality.

“Amazing is an unterstatement”
Well what can I say, it's tough to put it into words. Any words coming to mind right now would not even come close to how special, unique and just spectacular the time was we spent with Sophie. She is not only a great guide with lots of knowledge who knows how to share that knowledge with you in a way that you remember it, she is also flexible and can adapt on the spot when someone wants to take a rest or take a quick detour. Always kind with a smile on her lips even when she gets asked many questions. If you read this far, thank you and trust me. With her as your guide, you will see Stockholm from a POV that no one else can do. It won't just be a trip, it will be a journey you remember for the rest of your life.
