We will start our walk in the center of the city that were planned in the 1600's. Here we have imposing buildings such as the Kristine Church, the City Hall and the former head quarters for the mining industry, Stora. You will hear about the history, about todays life and about the people who has visited the city.

From here we stroll along the Falu creek to Elsborg, the quaint area of small red cottages, where the miners lived. We will see the mine in a distance, hear about the slagg, about Falun as a sport Mecca and the nature around us.

Visiting Sundborn is like walking into a living painting. This quaint village, nestled along the banks of a peaceful river, is best known as the beloved home of artist Carl Larsson. As you stroll through the serene surroundings, you’ll see the same red cottages, lush gardens, and shimmering waters that inspired his iconic works. I will share stories of my childhood in Sundborn and the life along the lake today.
