“An Exceptional Day with Saroj”
Somboon Elephant Foundation & River Kwai | 3 June Our day trip to the Somboon Elephant Foundation and River Kwai on 3 June was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand, and Saroj deserves credit His knowledge of the region, its history, and the cultural significance of the places we visited was impressive – and the way he shared it made everything come alive. His commentary throughout the day was fascinating and often surprising, offering insights and stories we simply wouldn’t have found in any guidebook. Saroj’s driving was excellent – smooth, confident, and safe – and his car was spacious and wonderfully comfortable, making the journey itself a pleasure rather than just a means to an end. We arrived at each destination relaxed and ready to enjoy it. What really set Saroj apart, though, was his patience and attentiveness. He was endlessly helpful, always anticipating what we needed, and never once made us feel rushed. “Wonderful tour through Ayutthaya”
Saroj was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Thailand! He was very accommodating while we were planning our customized tour and added in a couple other temples we wanted to see! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Ayutthaya! He also took us to a wonderful Michelin star restaurant for lunch and helped us get Roti Sai Mai! Would absolutely book with him again if we ever come back to Thailand!
