Itinerary

This itinerary can be customized to meet your needs and preferences. Send me a message with your requests!

12:30 PM

Meeting Point

Gallery Drip Coffee, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC)

- Meet your photographer at Gallery Drip Coffee on the 1st floor inside the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). The BACC is connected to BTS National Stadium station by a skywalk, so it is easy to reach by Skytrain or taxi. We say hello, have a quick chat about what you would love to see and photograph, and then set off together.

01:00 PM

Siam: Modern Bangkok and City Contrasts

We start in the heart of modern Bangkok, where glass towers, skywalks and busy shopping streets sit right next to small local lanes. It is the perfect place to warm up in front of the camera while we get to know each other.

01:40 PM

Saen Saep Canal and a Local Neighbourhood

Step away from the main roads and follow the canal into a quiet residential neighbourhood. Expect narrow lanes, colourful walls and everyday Bangkok life that most visitors never get to see.

02:10 PM

Late Lunch at a Local Thai Restaurant

Time to refuel at a local restaurant we love. We help you order and explain the dishes, so you can try real Thai food without guessing from the menu. Your meal and drinking water are included.

03:00 PM

Loha Prasat at Wat Ratchanatdaram

A striking temple crowned with rows of dark metal spires, unlike anything else in the city. We photograph it from the outside, where the spires and old walls make a beautiful, calm backdrop for portraits.

03:40 PM

Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing

The tall red Giant Swing and the grand temple beside it, in one of the oldest parts of Bangkok. The surrounding streets are full of old shophouses and classic Bangkok character, perfect for relaxed street portraits.

04:10 PM

Wat Ratchabophit

A quiet, elegant temple covered in colourful ceramic tiles, often peaceful even when the rest of the old town is busy. We photograph it from the outside as the afternoon light starts to soften.

04:40 PM

Riverside Rooftop Sunset Facing Wat Arun

We finish at a rooftop bar looking straight across the river at Wat Arun, with Wat Pho in the same view. Relax with your included non alcoholic sunset drink while we photograph you in the golden hour, the best light of the whole day.

Ending Point

Rooftop bar near Tha Tien Pier, facing Wat Arun (ends around 6:30 PM)

About Tour Guide Mike W.

Sawasdee! I'm Mike, a Bangkok-born photographer, and I lead a small team of local photographers here in my home city.

We are not tour guides who happen to carry a camera. We are photographers who know every back lane of Bangkok, and we walk you through it the way a local friend would: ordering the food you can't read on the menu, chatting with the shopkeepers, and finding the quiet corners most visitors never see.

As we walk and talk, we photograph you. Real, relaxed moments, not stiff poses. No modelling experience needed: we give gentle direction and help you feel at ease, so your photos look like you on your best holiday day.

What our guests love:

• Private days only, just your group and us

• Graffiti lanes, old neighbourhoods, quiet temples and modern Bangkok in one walk

• Local food and drinks along the way

• 80+ edited photos from our signature walk: we hand pick the best of the day and you receive all of them, in your own private online gallery

• Never more than three guests per photographer, so a bigger group gets more photographers, not less attention

Our team: I guide and photograph alongside Ian and our other Bangkok-born photographers. When you book, I will tell you personally which photographer will be with you on the day.

We speak Thai and English, and we love families, couples, friends and solo travellers who want to come home with more than selfies. Send me your dates and I'll help you plan your day.
