“Not so good”

Things with Leo did not work out so good. He expected me to be watching my cell phone all the time like a lot of people do. I am one of a dyeing population of the world that is not walking around with the cell phone glued to their face. I will take some of the problem for it not working out so well. thanks Ron

We didn’t ask to check your phone. However, in today’s world we all have tools to communicate, and that tool is called a phone. Especially at the airport, it’s important to stay in contact and provide updates. There is also airport Wi-Fi available, right? The world doesn’t revolve around just one person. If you choose not to use a phone, not to go anywhere with it, or not to carry one, that is completely your right. However, in this situation you are communicating and coordinating with other people. Sending letters to communicate would take far too long nowadays, wouldn’t it? Thank you for your understanding.

“Bangkok tours ”

I had contracted with Leo for 3 services. Pick up at airport, city tour, and return to airport. NONE of those happened as contracted. No Jobs were completed. Leos staff field to find me at the airport. I waited for someone to meet me at my hotel for the city tour. I waited at the designated spot for 2 hours and no one showed up. After 2 different connections not working. I did not trust that the third connection would work so I made other arrangements. I was totally ripped off. I have used other gowithguide in other parts of the world and I have been totally satisfied. Ron King

First, regarding the airport pickup: our staff arrived at the airport and was waiting with your name sign 2 hours before your flight landed. We also sent messages via the platform and WhatsApp (we have all message records as evidence). Our team waited for several hours and tried to contact you continuously, but we were unable to reach you. Eventually, we had to check with the hotel and were informed that you had already traveled there by yourself. If there was no internet signal at the airport, we fully understand that connectivity can sometimes be limited. However, it is generally possible to connect to temporary airport Wi-Fi to send a short update. This is a standard practice, and we regularly assist many international clients at the airport, including guests from GWG, without any issues. Regarding the day tour: we sent you the details, including the price, and waited for your confirmation. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response or confirmation from you. As hotels normally provide Wi-Fi access, we expected that you would be able to reply if you wished to proceed. Without confirmation, we could not arrange standby service again, as the previous airport situation had already caused transportation costs and staff time to be lost. If you kindly review the message history, you will see how much effort we made to contact and coordinate with you. We take pride in caring for all our guests professionally, and our previous reviews reflect our commitment and service standards. This situation was highly unusual for us. We sincerely hope you can understand our perspective. Thank you very much.

“Outstanding professionalism, flexibility, and heartfelt hospitality”

As a licensed interpreter-guide and CEO of Musubi Ltd. with over 20 years in Japan’s inbound luxury travel, I recently joined a tour in Thailand that truly impressed me with its professionalism and heartfelt hospitality. Arriving late at night, I stayed at the airport-connected Hyatt Regency. Before booking the tour, I asked if I could be dropped off at a different hotel in Bangkok afterward. Mr. Leo’s prompt and accommodating response gave me peace of mind. At 7:30 AM, I met our friendly guide Mr. Scotty and driver Ms. Coco. The spacious MG van was stocked with cold water, tissues, and wet towels—details that made me feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable. During the ride, Mr. Scotty shared engaging stories about Thai food and culture. Sensing my interest in spirituality, he made a spontaneous stop at a temple in Maeklong City, where I took part in a traditional Buddhist ritual. It was an unforgettable and moving experience. At Maeklong Railway Market, we boarded the train early to secure seats and enjoyed the unique thrill of riding through the bustling market. Smiles from local vendors as the train passed were heartwarming. Later, we visited a 190-year-old coconut farm and met a kind local family. Their warm hospitality, coupled with the strong relationship they had with our guide, made the visit truly special. We then explored the floating market by paddle boat and even bought fresh fruit from neighboring boats. Lunch was served at a serene riverside restaurant—flavorful yet mild Thai dishes followed by coconut ice cream in a shell, beautifully garnished with flowers. From start to finish, the tour was seamless. Mr. Scotty and Ms. Coco worked in harmony, ensuring my safety and comfort. Afterward, I even received a thoughtful thank-you message from Mr. Leo. This experience reminded me why small details and genuine hospitality matter. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a meaningful and well-curated experience in Thailand.
