Elephants Project
Meet the team and learn about the sanctuary’s mission. We’ll discuss the history of Thai elephants and their unique role as "family members" within the Karen tribe.
The Karen Way: Interaction & Feeding
Observe the elephants’ social behaviors and participate in feeding them. You'll learn about their natural diet and how the Karen people have cared for them for generations.
Karen Museum & Weaving Heritage
Explore the local museum to see tribal artifacts and watch a demonstration of traditional back-strap weaving used to create typical Karen garments.
Elephant Bathing
Join the elephants for a refreshing splash in the water.
Traditional Karen Lunch
A home-cooked Karen meal at the sanctuary.
Doi Bo Viewpoint (360° Panorama)
Drive up to the Doi Bo peak. On a clear day, you can see the entire Chiang Rai valley and the surrounding mountain ranges in every direction.
Lite-Trek & Reforestation Activity
Begin a scenic one and a half-hour downhill trek.
Mission: Along the way, we will be planting tree seeds directly into the forest floor, contributing to the reforestation of the Doi Bo area.
Hidden Creek & Waterfall Refreshment
The trek concludes at a small, secluded mountain creek. The water is cold and crystal clear—perfect for an optional swim or just soaking your feet after the hike.
Ending Point
Return to City, dropping you off at your accommodation.

Tour Important Information
1. A change of clothes and a towel are a must (you will get wet with the elephants!).
