Travel to equator

The traveler will be ready to start the journey to Kayabwe.

Due to centrifugal force caused by the Earth's rotation and slightly weaker gravity, visitors weigh about 0.5% less at the equator.

Local guides offer live hands-on demonstrations using water and a basin to show how water swirls clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, counterclockwise in the Southern Hemisphere, and drains straight down without swirling exactly on the equator line.
