Dubai Frame
The Dubai frame history began with a 2013 design competition won by architect Fernando Donis, with construction commencing in 2014 and concluding in 2018. Officially opened on January 1st, 2018, the 150-meters tall structure was developed by the Dubai municipality to symbolize Dubai’s past and future, acting as a bridge between the old city and its modern skyscrapers. The project aimed to showcase the city transformation and growth, though it also faced a legal dispute over design ownership between Donis and the municipality.
Zabeel palace Royal residence (picture point)
Zabeel palace began as three small buildings constructed in the late 1950s, with Shaik Rashid bin Al Saeed Al Maktoum commissioning a new palace in 1963 that linked these existing structures into one complex.
Designed by architect Otto Bulart, this new Zabeel palace was completed in 1965 and became the residence of Shaik Rashid until his death 1990. Today, it is the official residence of the current ruler of the Dubai, Shaikh Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, serving as both a royal home and a key venue for official government functions, receptions and ceremonies.

Dubai’s Museum of the future began with Shaikh Muhammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum announcement in March 2015 and the launch of the Dubai future foundation in April 2016 to support the Museum.
The museum, a futuristic, egg-shaped building adorned with Arabic calligraphy, officially opened to the public on February 22, 2022. Its design symbolizes humanity, earth and an unwritten future, housing immersive exhibits on topics like space, bioengineering and near-future technologies.
