Meet Your Guide at Al Seef

- Meet me at our agreed meeting point in Al Seef beside Dubai Creek. After a short introduction, we’ll begin our walking journey through Old Dubai and learn why the Creek played such an important role in the city’s development.

Al Seef & Dubai Creek

Walk through Al Seef’s heritage-style streets and waterfront promenade. See traditional architecture, wind towers and Creek views while learning about Dubai’s history as a center for trade, fishing and maritime activity.

Al Fahidi Historical District

Continue to Al Fahidi Historical District and walk through its narrow lanes, traditional courtyard houses and famous wind towers. I’ll explain how people lived before modern air conditioning and how traditional homes were designed for Dubai’s climate.

Al Fahidi Fort / Dubai Museum

Stop at historic Al Fahidi Fort and learn about its importance in Dubai’s history. If Dubai Museum is officially open and accessible on your tour date, a visit can be incorporated; otherwise, I’ll introduce the fort and its history from the exterior before we continue our walk.

Old Souk & Creek Walk

Walk through the traditional Bur Dubai market area toward the Creek. Discover small shops, textiles and local trading streets while experiencing the atmosphere of one of Dubai’s oldest commercial districts.

Al Shindagha Heritage Area

Continue along the Creek to historic Al Shindagha, an area closely connected with Dubai’s ruling family and maritime history. Discover the heritage surroundings and learn about the Creek, traditional Emirati life and Dubai’s early development.

Traditional Abra Ride

Board a traditional wooden Abra and cross Dubai Creek from Bur Dubai toward Deira. Enjoy views from the water while I explain how these traditional boats have connected communities and trading districts on both sides of the Creek.

Explore Old Dubai’s Traditional Souks

Walk through Old Baladiya Street and explore Deira’s traditional market area. Discover the colorful Spice Souk, local perfumes and traditional shops before continuing to the famous Gold Souk, while learning about Dubai’s historic trading culture.

Ending Point

After completing your Old Dubai walking tour, meet your driver and enjoy a comfortable transfer back to your hotel or preferred drop-off location within Dubai.
