Public library, St Peters Square
- Right in the heart of the city of Manchester in St Peters Square
Media City
A short tram ride will take us to the BBC and ITV TV and radio studios. There is also the Lowry art gallery as well as a designer shopping outlet to explore. A visit to the Imperial War Museum is optional. Old Trafford football stadium is only a short walk away.
Castlefield
A beautyspot in the heart of the city where we can explore the canals, an overhead city park, the replica ruins of a Roman fort - the birthplace of Manchester. A visit to the museum of Science and Industry is optional.
John Rylands library
The most beautiful library in Great Britain, a victorian jewel.
Manchester Cathedral
The over 600 years old Cathedral is a must for all visitors
Northern Quarter
The Northern Quarter is the music and arts Quarter in Manchester with numerous quirky shops and independent bars and cafes
Gay village and Chinatown
On our way back to the library we will pass the world famous gay village and vibrant Chinatown
