A short tram ride will take us to the BBC and ITV TV and radio studios. There is also the Lowry art gallery as well as a designer shopping outlet to explore. A visit to the Imperial War Museum is optional. Old Trafford football stadium is only a short walk away.
Castlefield
A beautyspot in the heart of the city where we can explore the canals, an overhead city park, the replica ruins of a Roman fort - the birthplace of Manchester. A visit to the museum of Science and Industry is optional.
