Stratford upon Avon Train Station
- Stratford upon Avon train station is located 10 minutes from the Town Centre. This station, served by the West Midland Railway and Chiltern Railway lines, can be reached from London and Birmingham International Airport.
Shakespeare Birthplace
You can also watch some theatrical performances in the house's garden and learn a little more about the work of Shakespeare's father.
Shakespeare New Place
Shakespeare New Place was the largest and most prestigious house in Stratford at the time. He bought it in 1597, at the height of his fame and wealth, and lived there with his family until he died there in 1616. Today, only the foundation and gardens remain, but the site is well signposted and preserved.
Guidehall & King Edward VI School
Known today as Shakespeare School, it still operates as a selective school for boys.
He would have received a classical education, with a strong focus on:
Latin grammar and literature (including works by Virgil, Ovid and Cicero), rhetoric, logic and memorization
This education laid the linguistic and literary foundations for his later works.

Holy Trinity Church
Holy Trinity Church dates back to 1210 and was built on the site of a Saxon monastery. It is the oldest building in Stratford-upon-Avon, situated on the banks of the River Avon and is one of the most visited churches in England due to its fame as the baptism and burial place of William Shakespeare.
Anne Hathaway Cottage
To visit Anne Hathaway Cottage, we will walk 1 mile to and 1 mile back to the town center.
Anne Hathaway's Cottage is a twelve-room farmhouse with a beautiful garden where Anne Hathaway, wife of William Shakespeare, lived as a child. This beautiful thatched-roof cottage is situated in Shottery, about a mile west of Stratford-upon-Avon town centre.

Our entire tour is done on foot, the vast majority of tourist attractions are very close to the town center, only Anne Hathaway's cottage is on the outskirts of the city and we will walk 2 km to go and 2 km to return.
