Tour Important Information
Please bring your camera and dress for the weather. We provide bottled water, gourmet cookies and hot coffee. We can begin the first half hour after your ship's arrival or at a time that is commensurate with your ship's schedule. IF your ship is docked at Ward Cove, north of Ketchikan then segments of this tour may be in reverse and you will have the option of returning to Ward Cove or being dropped off at any popular shopping location in Ketchikan. Choosing this option requires you to catch the shuttle or cab back to Ward Cove prior to your ship's "All Aboard" time.
The time schedule outlined above can be adjusted. Generally you may choose a tour starting time of 30 minutes after your ship's published arrival time or later.

Ketchikan Mountain Lake Trek to Avalanche Chute 3.5 Hours
Come join us on a stunning 4-mile (6.4 km) roundtrip hike with from 1 to 6 people! Hike an improved gravel trail alongside a forested lake below a mountain. Plenty of spots for picture taking. The second mile’s more natural tread is mixed with gravel, large rocks, and roots as you ascend through an old-growth rainforest displaying large specimens of Sitka spruce.. At 1100 feet of elevation, you arrive at the bottom of an avalanche chute.
