Sunny organized everything and helped us order noodle soup. It was a really fun and relaxing tour. He is a great commicator and checked in with me about our arrival time. Highly recommended doing this tour before the floating market before it disappears.

“Wonderful hidden gems tour of Can Tho! ”

I took the bicycle tour with Sunny and highly recommend him as a tour guide in Can Tho. I had limited time in the area but really wanted to get a feel for the local life on the river rather than just ticking off the tourist hotspots and Sunny really delivered. Sunny organised everything seamlessly in advance so the experience flowed and I felt very well looked after throughout the tour. Hes also a joy to spend the day with - full of information and knowledge of secret spots plus he speaks great English - and captured lots of great photos to remember the trip by (which is a real bonus when travelling solo!) Its obvious that Sunny really enjoys what he does which makes the trip feel even more special - like your spending your day with a friend whos showing you around, rather than a tour guide whos just taking you from A to B. Hes also a great and safe driver. 10/10 Highly recommend! We started at the local market to pick up some fresh fruits and then boarded our small boat to see the wholesale traders at the floating market. While there were plenty of other tourists on the river, you really get a view of how the traders live and work, and get up close with daily life on the river The delicious coffee and pho served from the floating restaurant were both great additions to the experience. Next we went along the canals to the noodle factory where youre able to have a go yourself at making the noodles which was good fun. We then peacefully boated along a quieter and very beautiful part of the canal which was a lovely and relaxing treat after the busyness of the market, stopping to see and taste beautiful organic fruits fresh from the farm. Finally we visited a beautiful farm/ garden where we picked up the bicycles for a cycle around the small back streets, far away from the tourist trail, including a visit to the heritage tree which is unlike anything Ive seen before. Back at the gardens we refreshed with more amazing fresh fruits, coconut water and tea. On top of all of this, Sunny also helped arranged my transport to and from Can Tho and accommodation in a homestay on the edge of town. I hadnt asked for any information up front so wasnt sure what to expect on arrival but hed chosen the most charming homestay made up of little cabins over their own picturesque canal. I really recommend a stay at Go Chanh Homestay if you get the chance - the staff are wonderful and friendly, the food is good and the setting is an oasis outside the city. Cabin 11 is especially charming and private. Sunny - thank you TOO MUCH!!!
