Hue Imperial Citadel
Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby, then we will transfer you to Hue Imperial Citadel. Our guide will introduce you to the Feng Shui design of the Hue Imperial Citadel and explain the role of each area.
Citadel
We’ll begin with the Citadel, the first section and protective outer area, featuring must-see landmarks such as the Nine Holy Cannons, Noon Gate (Ngo Mon Gate), Flag Tower, and Kim Thuy Moat.
Royal City
The former administrative heart of the Nguyen Dynasty. Here, you'll visit Ngu Phung Palace, where emperors once announced key policies, and then explore Thai Hoa Palace, the emperor’s main office, and the Royal Family Temple, where our guide will explain traditional worship practices, including incense offerings.
Forbidden City
Home to the private residences of 13 emperors, concubines, and eunuchs. Discover the Emperor’s mother’s residence, the Royal Library, the Royal Lake, the Royal Garden, and the Royal Theater. Our guide will share rare insights into the lives of the royal family and palace residents, stories that go beyond typical guides or internet sources.
Departure
After 2.5 hours of exploring Hue’s cultural and architectural heritage, we will finish the Hue Imperial Citadel walking tour and our driver will transfer you back to your hotel/homestay in Hue.

- This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
This tour will take 2.5 hours to explore the complex of Hue Imperial Citadel, Royal City, and Forbidden City and this attraction will close at 5 pm, so please book it from 8 am to 2 pm.

We used this company for three separate transfers all over northern Vietnam and highly recommend them. I changed the schedule on them several times and they were always very quick to respond and accommodate my requests. Cars were clean and arrived on time every time. We left sunglasses in one car and they brought them straight to the hotel for us which was very appreciated. Good company and safe drivers.
