Chan May Port
- We will pick you up at the Chan May Port entrance (based on your cruise ship's docking time, not necessarily the same as our suggested time). Please walk out for about 5 minutes to meet our driver at the gate. He will hold a welcome name board so that you can easily spot him. If you want a pickup inside the port, a surcharge of $25 is applied.
It's an extensive brackish lagoon offering dreamy, rustic landscapes. Its most prominent feature is a harmonious setting of vast water surfaces and distant mountain ranges. Moreover, you can find a fishing village and an excellent Vietnamese coffee shop here.
You will reach the foot of Hai Van Pass, where you can embrace the panoramic view of Lang Co Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Then, the car will go uphill along the 20-kilometer Hai Van Pass road and up to 496 meters high to admire a bird-eye view of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang City.
Next, you will run along the enchanting coast of Da Nang outskirts to Linh Ung Pagoda in Monkey Mountain (Son Tra Peninsula). Here, you will explore striking Buddhist architecture, especially one of the tallest Buddha statues in Vietnam (67 meters). Also, you can take in the fresh air, watch panoramic sea views, and even luckily meet wild monkeys.
At noon, the car will enter the city center for lunch. You can choose where you want to have a meal as it's not included in the service rate. But if you don't know where to eat, our driver can recommend a good local restaurant.
You will have about 20 minutes of soft walking around the Dragon Bridge after lunch. This dragon-shaped suspension bridge is an iconic construction of Da Nang City, crossing the Han River.
Finally, you drop by the Marble Mountains Complex and visit its Water Mountain. It boasts a system of large caves and grottoes, such as Tang Chon Cave and Hoa Nghiem Cave, which contain various temples, shrines, Buddha statues, etc. inside. Plus, you can admire ancient pagodas, such as Linh Ung Pagoda and Tam Thai Pagoda. There are also several vantage spots to watch Da Nang coastlines.
After all, our driver takes you back to your cruise ship in Chan May Port.
