“A Truly Inspiring Tour of Algiers”

We had such a great day in Algiers with our guide Rasha. She knows an incredible amount about the city’s history as well as contemporary life, and she explained everything in a really engaging and accessible way. We could ask all kinds of questions and ended up having so many interesting conversations throughout the day. Rasha was also super friendly and very flexible with our sometimes complicated wishes. She always found a way to make things possible and adapted the day to what we were most curious about. Our day with her was truly inspirational. In fact, we kept talking about the things we learned from her during the rest of our stay in Algeria. We can absolutely recommend exploring Algiers with Rasha!

“A wonderful walking tour of Algiers”

I arrived at the Place des Matyrs metro station where I met my guide for the tour, Nad. We went first to the Casbah where it was clear that Nad had a deep understanding as well as a passion for the history and culture of Algiers. He explained to me in depth the Algerian war and the repercussions for all that were involved. I was moved to see the house where Ali Lapointe was killed. He explained how he had relatives that were involved in the conflict and this helped make his explanations more personal. The knowledge that he was able to communicate to me will stay with me forever as I did not expect to learn so much in such a short time. I highly recommend Nad as a tour guide if you want to understand Algiers! Tom

“Best Tour Guide in The World!”

We were fortunate enough to book a private tour with Rasha. Just myself and my partner and it was the highlight of visiting Algeria by far. Her English was excellent, her knowledge of the history was staggering and she knew every passage and shortcut in the maze that is the Casbah. We saw so much and really enjoyed ourselves. It was amazing how much we experienced in our time with her. She organizes a driver to move you around and takes care of everything so you don't need to. By the end, we felt like family. Truly, she extended the best hospitality we have ever experienced. She is a strong, funny and smart independent woman and we wish her all the best of fortunes in the future.
